He also told the court that traders who deal in foreign exchange on Binance “normally trade in pseudonyms” thereby hiding their identities in contravention of relevant laws.

Those who think that government is not aware of what is going on in their hyped P2P turn out to be the ignorant ones.

FG was watching them while actually building solid evidence against the rogue platform and the criminals using it to avoid paying the lawful tax like capital gains tax etc, for money laundering and pumping the US dollars against the naira among many crimes committed by these unpatriotic elements.

I always have the little doubt whenever they say a girl is missing. In 2002, there was a girl in my younger sister’s class, they were in SS1 then, she left home for school she didn’t get to school and didn’t return home. They started looking for her and even reported to the police/

Behold she returned home a week later and cooked up a story of how she was touched by one man and got hypnotised and didn’t know where they took her, her family were happy. Even though I was young then I didn’t believe her story.

3 months later they found out she was pregnant then she confessed that she was in a house at the back of her father’s house for the one week she claimed she was hypnotised and taken away.

Auntie was getting it steady and regularly, unfortunately that was the end of her education. She gave birth to a girl child, left the child with her parents and went abroad. The child is a runs girl today going from one hotel to the other and the mom is back from abroad empty and wasted.

BusinessDiscos Announce New Electricity Tariff Increase For Band A Customers by vibemad007(op): 9:48pm On Jul 03, 2024
Some of Nigeria’s electricity distribution companies (DisCos) announced the upward review of electricity tariffs for Band A customers on Wednesday.

The upward review takes effect from July 1, according to statements posted on the X handles of some of the nation’s distribution companies.

The distribution companies stated that customers in Band A will now pay N209.5/kWh, up from the previous rate of N206.80/kWh. They also noted that the tariffs for Bands B, C, D, and E will remain unchanged.

The companies said that the revision of the 2024 MYTO for Band A customers led to an increase in tariffs.

Similarly, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (Kaduna Electric) said:

“Dear esteemed customers, the management of Kaduna Electric informs the public of an upward review in the tariff of Band A feeders from N206.80/kWh to N209.5/kWh.

“The review is effective from 1st July 2024 and affects prepaid and postpaid customers. Kaduna Electric assures customers on its Band A feeders of the continued availability of 20-24 hrs daily as stipulated in the service-based tariff regime”.

“Effective immediately, the tariff will be adjusted from N206.80/kWh to N209.50/kWh. This review has been duly approved by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) as captured in the mIn April, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) ordered the immediate upward review of electricity tariffs.

multi-year tariff supplementary order,” a statement signed by Acting Managing Director, IBEDC, Francis Agoha, read.

Similar posts were made by Ikeja Electricity (IE) and Abuja DisCo (ABEDC).

Backstory

In April, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) ordered the immediate upward review of electricity tariffs.

The NERC Vice Chairman, Musiliu Oseni, said only 15% of the electricity consumers are affected by the hike.

Accordingly, he said, power distribution companies (DisCos) will be allowed to raise electricity prices to N225 per kilowatt-hour from N68.

The decision attracted criticism among Nigerians.

Moreover, on 6 May, the distribution companies announced a tariff reduction. Announcing the reduction at the time, the distribution companies said customers in Band A will now pay N206.80/kwh from N225/kwh.

PoliticsRe: List Of Tinubu's Policies That I Like by vibemad007: 8:11pm On Jul 02, 2024
iykbethany:
I am passionate about seeing Nigeria succeed. My stance is that Nigeria needs a robust leadership that transcends tribal and religious affiliations. A leadership that can drive the nation towards greatness and prosperity.

Here are some of Tinubu policies that I like..

1. Removal of Fuel subsidy (I support it bc it was hijacked by crooks). And majority of the subsidised Fuel was being smuggled to Cameron, Niger and other neighbouring countries.

2  Removal of forex subsidy (It was hijacked by crooked bank executives that many of you call role models and philanthropists.
3. Implementation of the Oronsaye report

However, I must mention that the removal of the fuel subsidy was executed without proper planning. The government should have conducted a thorough analysis of the situation before implementing the policy. The government's actions sometimes appear inconsistent.

I believe that Nigeria's top priority is to improve security across the nation. Security is essential for economic prosperity, and insecurity is the primary reason for the high cost of food and other commodities.

Farmers are often attackedd and killedd by banditss and terroristt groups such as Boko Haram. Therefore, the government needs to develop effective security measures to safeguard citizens' lives and property.

It is essential to note that poverty is a significant contributor to insecurity. Therefore, the government must focus on improving the economy to tackle poverty.

Handing out cash to the poor is not a sustainable solution, as the funds rarely reach the intended beneficiaries. Buhari administration allocated billions for poor Nigerians through the Humanitarian ministry but the money was looted.

So instead of repeating this mistake, the Tinubu administration should invest in measures that will promote economic growth and development.

In my humble opinion, these are few of the several things Tinubu should do to move the nation towards greatness:

1. Address insecurity.
2. Reduce the cost of governance.
3. Ban foreign medical trips for all political office holders. This will help develop our medical sector.
4. Appointments should be based on merit, not sentiment. Only a few ministers, such as Wike, Dave Umahi, and the interior minister, are performing well. The rest are below par.

God bless Nigeria 🙌
And has these policy made Nigeria better?
