According o Reuters, the ceasefire proposal to Iran is: “a ceasefire would take effect immediately, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, with 15–20 days to finalise a broader settlement” “The final agreement is expected to include Iranian commitments not to pursue nuclear weapons in exchange for sanctions relief and the release of frozen assets” Would Iran accept these terms ? Turkey and Egypt previously guaranteed a ceasefire between the U.S. and Gaza, but none of its terms were fully implemented by the US, while Hamas has honoured its part of the agreement, and the second phase was never carried out as stipulated. According to Gaza medical sources, since the “ceasefire” on October 11, the Israeli army has killed 716 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 1,968 Palestinians in Gaza. Who would trust any deal with the U.S. after seeing its ceasefire in Gaza? So far, only Afghans have forced the US to accept their terms, and all of them. 9 Likes |
