planetuzor: Now get this straight, the system got bad frm the Top before it spread to the button.. Yes the lecturers have largely messed things up but it all started from the levity at which the govt had taken the higher institute of learning.. Whatever happens at the Top would sure have a sporadic effect on the buttom(receiving end). Now take this scenero if u have younger one in the house, u wld notice they easily pick after what u do or say. If u use a particular slang for a long tym they too will pick it up and start speaking that same slang. If u use a particular abusive word on them u wld notice how they too wld use same word on someother person right b4 ur eye. So it all from the top my brother...

Now let me give u a better illustration.. I don't know if u've been privileged to work under maybe a multinational or corporate organization. There's sometin called hierarchy, for every level u get to, u are Answerable to somebody and that same person is Answerable to another person. To clear up the above sentence, Let's say in a fast food franchise company like MR Biggs, for every food attender there is a Supervisor and Every supervisor there is a Head of Operation and Every head of Operation there is a Manager. Now paradventure a food attender talks rudely to a customer and unlucky for him Inspector Officials came to check on the branch, if they notice a food attender has just talked rudely to customer they will walk straight into the Manager's office to quarry the Manager and Tell him his pple aren't doing good that they talk to customers Rudely. Now the Manager inturn Goes to the Head of Operation to shout at him and tells him he is not doing his Job well that something against their ethics jst happens that someone jst talked rudely to a customer, Now Head of Operation goes straight up to Shout at the supervisor and the supervisor in turns Shouts so hard on the Food attender.. ...... If u check the Link, the Inspectors didn't even relate to the food attender but went straight to the Head to tell Him the Head he is not Doing his Job well controlling his pple. That's the way it is. Its just a simple fact. Ones the head isn't Getting it right the Other parts won't get it right.

This also reminds me of how the hierarchy thing affect Police force too. Have u ever wondered why some police men who mistakenly shoot at innocent lives are Covered up by their boss? Their boss help them frame things to cover up issues too.. Ok let's talk about this, every police man has a Division that he is assigned to and every Division has a Boss (D.P.O) as its called. Now hear this, if a common officer shots at someone mistakenly the DPO incharge of that officer is in trouble! That's why within minutes they wld frame up things jst to cover up or lie and say its an accidental discharge or whatever to shield the officer frm blame. because the blame will start frm the DPO. If u ar lucky to knw any police office please ask him. I wouldn't want to get into details with the police thing. I jst gat shut up now don't knw whose watching!!!

There's no way you can paint indiscipline that you'll expect it to look attractive.Who are the people at the top?Are the vice-chancellors the people that are at the buttom?If someone is not doing the right thing does that mean i should also follow suit?So you mean if i always catch my boss stealing the organization's funds i should also do the same when i find myself in such a position in the nearest future?Like u pointed out in ur earlier example,If my junior ones are above age 6 they would certainly be able to discern what is bad from what is good.If i use the wrong word on them they would resort to reporting to my parent rather than using it on anyother individual.Peradventure they catch me stealing and they also try doing the same&get caught by my parent do u mean my parent should leave them alone since they were only trying to copy their brother?If Vice-chancellors are d sole employers of these staffs then why should you expect the FG to do the monitoring for them?Do you mean the FG doesn't av anyother issues to attend to?Moreover,these people are academician.It's not the politician that teach me how to become a better person.If my politicians av failed me must my teachers also fail me?All these politicians are they not the end product of our teachers?My brother,just like the law parlance that says"ignorance is not an excuse" so also there's no excuse to indiscipline and bad behaviours.

All you're after his money!money!money!..If u don't av the proper&right human resource there's nothing that money would be able to achieve.Are u aware that uniben recently sacked 44 staffs for offences ranging from sexual harrasment,blocking,giving of fake admissions,etc.The rate at which students "block" in uniben is quite alarming.Is it the government that is also responsible for this?For uniben to be a better place there has to be a complete system overhaul.In as much as i agree that our universities certainly need to get better we musn't shy away from the fact that our lecturers av largely contributed to the mess&decay we're currently experiencing in our universities.

Our schools are shyte bcs our FG would rather spend cash in their villages than on schools. Why do u think we all flee to ghana now? I love the way you replied but please i wouldn't want you to dwell much on this budget of a thing because it's lot more complicated than you think.Ghana is a smaller country compared to Nigeria&I know u're not aware of the fact that Ghana has only 6 public universities which means majority of the universities in Ghana are private universities.I'm not trying to excuse the FG from facing it's responsibilities but we must all know that this "tertiary institution collapse" didn't just come up overnight.It has been an accumulation from successive government since the 1990's.You can't expect abracadabra from this present government.Why not we start with something first rather than waste our time waiting for trillions of naira to start with?Have our Vice-chancellors being able to make judicious use of the mind blowing IGR's they get in their respective universities?what is the probability that even if they get this one they will be able make good use of it?
The bone of contention now is not even the infrastructures per say but rather earned allowance.It's a common phenomenon to Nigerians as we always push 100% of d blames on our government even when we know that some people somewhere are not acting rightly.

Please let us be sincere with ourselves FG can't cough out such ludicrous amount of money at once.If you calculate d national income with the income approach what you'll get is the nominal income which does not reflect the true state of Nigeria's economy..An attempt to pay such amount would be a deliberate move to close down other sectors of the economy.There are some pungent questions you should be asking urself.Why should a state university that pay close to #200,000 depend on the FG for it's funding?There's no way you can excuse greed from this.What ASUU are just trying to do is to feast on the weakness of the FG.I seriously don't know what the FG were thinking about when they signed that agreement.Perhaps they were trying to play to the gallery&this is seriously backfiring on we the students...In the interest of the Nigerian students,i think it's high time they removed their legs of that pedal a bit&try to renegotiate their demands.Afterall,they don't really av any moral justification to back up their demands.They've been d major contributor to d rot witnessed in our universities.Nigerian Public Universities can only get better if there's a complete overhaul in the system.Even if u pump #900bn into the schools it wouldn't still change anything.

The format would be like that of ur online printout but must show a reflection of "statement of result" as the heading.The only major additions would be the name of ur school&address bodly written on top while a space for ur principal's signature&stamp would be located beneath ur subjects&grades...If ur principal doesn't know how to go about it then i'll advice that u consult other teaching staffs in that school.

And lastly,if it would nt be acceptable wat should be the format the principal would use ?

Your question is not quite clear but from what i understood in ur text i think u meant if you could use 2 sittings o'level result obtained from different schools.

Yes you're at liberty to use it but make sure you come along with the online printouts of both result.In addition,don't forget to bring along with u d statement of result of d 2 result irrespective of whether or not they're of d same school but if u've got ur original ssce result already then come with that instead.

osague: unilag is very competitive compared to uniben.....unilag is so strict wen it come to givin admissn irrespective of ur area...u cn only be sure of unilag if u beat dier cutoff mark....i still tink uniben is preferable....bt its ur choice anyway

Not absolutely true.Unilag set catchment cut-offs.If ur score is below d merit list but happens to fall in place with ur catchment cutoff u would still be offered admission.The major concern about unilags admission is it's transparency.There are lot of shady admission in unilag.Once u've d money u still can get a course.

No.Affidavit can be done/sworn anywhere.It's totally up to you to decide where you can get urs done cheaper,quicker&nearer.

Your passport need not necessarily be the one you used in ur Pume.You can take new ones but make sure its in red background&also in large quantities so as to save u d stress of taking new ones cos for every little thing u're gonna be registering,u'll be required to provide at least a passport photograph.

There's a format for acceptance letters,guarantor letters,et al.Endeavour to get that from ur friends.You'll print ur admission letter from Uniben waeup kofa page.

No.She can't.It's actually Doctor of Pharmacy&it's pretty classed like Medicine.In as much as you can't expect an education student to transfer to medicine then pharmacy is not any different.Courses like microbiology,botany,etc might still be possible though.

When it comes to admission in uniben,strange and mind-boggling things happen that one cant seriously explain.I could still recall how some peeps who had 60's last year where denied admission or at the worst were being given courses they never planned to study while candidates that had 50's saw their names on the merit list.I was lucky to have some of them as a friend and they told me that they were also surprised as to how their names appeared on the merit list and I knew they weren't from an affluence background so they wouldn't av bribe their way through but how they were admitted in place of those who had higher marks were questions that left answered.As the month progressed,my mind raced back into two important element which was gonna help in completely attaining a set goal in life.••Luck and Prayer••coupled with hardwork,your set goal is all but attained/achieved.
