lemme add this for you to think about.

Let's say you decide to start with a capital of $1k to invest for me to trade for you, at the worst case scenario, a trader with 6-8 months consistent profitability would have at the very least, you would have already recovered your capital of $1k which you invested and certainly some more.
Nobody can totally tame the fotex market forever and there is no trader on earth who doesn't have a down time but I believe the most important thing is to make more than u invest and more before any eventuality so there's no regret. You can not say that I wouldn't have made over $1k for you with ur $1k capital within a whole 6 months of consistent profitability! It's a no brainer.

Think about it. $1k is not too much to start with. Honestly
this dude is a terrible trader. Nobody should trust him with one NairA except you’re prepared to loose it

This is my little track record..

So i managed a 200k challenge account on Funded next for 1 year and 6 months before i lost it, moving it from phase 1 to phase and was 3% up on phase 2.

I managed a 25k Funded next account using 8 months to complete the phase 2 and got funded.
I managed the funded account for 6 months making consistent profit and withdrawals every two week within the period before i eventually lost it in November last year....

I also managed my personal 350$ person account from January this year making consistent profit every till the end of march when i eventually liquidated the account because of bills and other emergencies...

Also i managed a 1000k personal for someone from January till March, made over 1000$ Profit within the period, the deal was cut off because i lost 500$ when i had a tough trading period within the last week of march, but before then i was making constant profit on the account...

I believe I've the experience and knowledge to manage this your account if given the opportunity to do so

Also from April to march i was trading a 25k challenge account, i made profit consistently every week till this week when i had a a rough patch, the account went up to 6%

For someone who is in Nigeria and want to migrate with family to UK via NHS job, what job band can I be looking forward to apply for
The minimum NHS will sponsor is band 3. And their minimum requirement is NVQ level 3. Not all certificates tagged nvq are nvq. Confirm from UK gov website that the learning provider is accredited

Sounds like a good idea especially if up to 20-30 people can be connected. The revenue will pay for the monthly subscription and the excess is monthly cash flow. However you must be willing to advertise and talk to people in your area about it

Why is it risky?
What I mean is it involves higher risk because it he’ll have to use half or more of his available capital. For someone that has billions, it’s small risk. Real estate is a sure investment because someone must buy your house. But inflation has escalated cost of building these days

How do one get a full time job fast in the UK as a dependant ?
To get a sponsorship job fast in the UK, you need to get a regulated qualification. It is a requirement for NHS band 3 jobs. NVQ stands you out. Not all courses labeled as NVQ are actually NVQ. There are organizations in Nigeria & UK that offer NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care but it is not cheap

If you’re willing to take a bigger risk of say 90m, I’ll recommend you buy a plot of land in a developed estate in lekki with 40m and use 50m to develop a high end duplex on it and sell for nothing less than 160m. It’s not an easy business o but men dey run am. It all depends on your appetite for risk

Thank you so much for the well detailed response. I really appreciate you taking the time to share all this.. it’s been super helpful, not just to me, but to a lot of people as well. I can see from the views on my post that many are following and learning from what you shared too

Just to clarify though, the 50 RMB per carton you mentioned, does that already include shipping, clearing, and other logistical cost ? I ask because 50 RMB is around ₦11,000 and by the time we factor in shipping and clearing, the total cost might be closer to ₦12k -13k per carton. So I’m just trying to understand how the ₦3k–₦4k profit works out …. unless I’m missing something here . Just want to be sure I’m calculating right. Thanks
50RMB is for goods alone. Shipping and clearing is 2500-2800 per carton( I paid 2800 naira in my last import). Total is 11k+2800= approx 14k(15k just to be safe) the light is sold at 18,500 Alaba market price, so profit is 18500-15,000=3,500 per carton x 5,000. I’ve imported this light many times, I have about 1000 cartons coming from China currently so this one is not theory
NB: other importers have flooded the market with light cause it’s their business as well, so 5000 cartons will take time to sell finish but that’s not a problem as light doesn’t spoil and market will always need what you have

Thanks for the response

Quick one…. price-wise, when you say wholesaler, what kind of quantity or price range are we really talking about here ? Just want to understand the scale

And that groundnut oil angle got me thinking…. honestly I always thought the price of oil was kind of steady, maybe small ups and downs, but not like double. So I’m kind of curious
Your question is not clear to me. If you mean the number of quantity to bring in as a wholesaler, it can be 5000-10,000 cartons of light. Other wholesalers in Alaba can buy 500-1000 cartons from you at once and it will be going small small. The price range is 50 RMB per 1 carton x 5000 cartons. Profit is 3-4k per carton x 5000.

For oil, it might not do 100% but close, just depends on available supply, demand and weather. Last year, 1 keg bought for 40+k and went as high as 70+k in November. I’m talking of 25 litre gallon

Sorry for late response

Quick one …..

So, I’m trying to figure out how your business works—are you more of a wholesaler yourself ? Like, do you mostly supply other sellers in bulk, or do you focus on selling directly at Alaba yourself?

Personally, I’m not really looking for a business where I’m stuck in a shop all day. I’d rather prefer a setup where once my goods arrive, after like 2 or 3 months, I already have buyers or retailers I can sell to and just move the goods. I’d love something like that.
Morning. I sell directly at Alaba myself. But the demand for the light is high so it will always sell. Selling wholesale is if I have container load and I don’t bring such quantity yet. Even big quantity of light will sell fast, I know wholesalers in the market that buy hundreds of carton at once and other shop owners will buy from you as long as your price is not above market price. I cannot guarantee the time it will take for all the goods to sell but even big quantities sell out in 3-4 months max. As for you, you don’t have to be in shop all day. You can bring the goods and store in a warehouse then we inside Alaba will do the marketing and sale and supply direct from warehouse. Construction materials and light will always be in demand.
Another business I’ve done I can recommend is buy groundnut oil during harvest season (April-May-Jun) and sell in December when price might’ve done 2X. I have other business but these are the ones I’m willing to share here

Interesting—can you share more details about this business
I don’t like sharing details online. Basically I order fast selling lights(type of light purposely withheld) from China and sell at Alaba market for 30% average profits. I already have 8 years experience and social capital to handle the storage and marketing and sales. Some chandeliers can give 80-100% profits but you have to wait 4-6 months to finish selling it. The type I bring sell out in 1 or 2 months. Business success get little little secrets. Production and shipping to Nigeria takes 2-3 months. It’s pure business not get rich quick schemes
