Smh bro. America challenged Russia and they were bloodied just like in Afghanistan. Their incompetence was exposed to the full glare of the world. In addition, major countries have started using their national currencies in international trade.
America overthrew a taliban government and installed their puppet and were in Afghanistan for 20 years before voluntarily pulling out and you call that a defeat? SMH.

I share more Democratic values than RepubliQan growing up it was the opposite. I used to be conservative then but views and opinions changed.
What happened along the line?
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by VictorUSA(m): 11:21am On Oct 17, 2022
@Ladyhippolyta88

Both parties work with media propaganda and writing stories giving you reasons why you need to vote them but in the end you look at who have your interest in mind; who represent your values. As for me I'm a fan of the Democrats because they represents values I hold dear. I'm not pro-LGBTQI/Abortion but also I'm not oughtrightly against them since they don't affect me in anyway. Democrats' policies on gun laws, tax, immigration, etc are policies I hold dear. I'm a born democratgrin We will flip somany seats and the Republikkkaaans can cry election irregularities and manipulation. Trump taught them how not to certify or believe any election outcome when it didn't favour them.

If Russia was Libya, America would have already invaded. I don't understand the mental gymnastics you had to go through to come to that conclusion.
If US nukes Russia, do they expect Russia to not retaliate?
As a matter of facts, the West already lost on day 1.
America may not retaliate directly and imediately. And you guys should stop seeing as if America don't have the balls to challenge Russia.

So what will the US do?
Russia has already muje.
Americans are unpredictable, you and I knows this. You people who set a trap for Putin to fight a proxy with them don't know what exactly to do? For your information, the US warned Putin that making use of chemical/nuclear weapons is tantamount to his sucide.

See the picture below. Straight from a western news publication.

The newly annexed four regions of Ukraine will further enhanced Russia's economic and strategic deterrent/posturr, especially if they should include Odessa to make Ukraine completely landlock.

A land locked Ukraine will serve very little or no purpose for NATO's military ambition towards Russia. But, I don't think you will understand. cool
Well, I may not understand now but I'll get to understand gringringrin

One thing is certain: Russia can not get away with the annexed regions in Ukraine. It'll totally end USA's influence as the global superpower.

I agree with this particular statement.
Your moniker was scary.
It gave me the vibes that you were one of those Western Arse lickers and I'm glad I was wrong.
I'm a lover of USA and its western allies and supports whatever they do but that doesn't mean I don't know what they are up to and you know what that means. In International Politics there's no saint all is about their interest, that's all. Now look at US condemning Russia for taking a step to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO but here they are condemning China for signing military coperation with this island near Australia and making threats over possible Chinese military base on the island. Is it not basically the same thing happening Ukraine? And if my analysis is correct then that is "double standard". America owns the media so they paint you anyhow they want. It takes someone who understand the dynamics to sieve and deliver an unbias judgement.
Foreign AffairsRe: Gov. by VictorUSA(m): 7:17am On Oct 17, 2022
The fall of Putin is the beginning of American hegemony without any power to question them, it is why countries who knows this supports Russia or stays neutral.

The fact that RepubliQans don't have the midterm elections on lock in October is a good indicator that this is possible.

There are reports that there are many newly registered voters this election cycle particularly women and youths likely because of Roe v Wade.
Yea I think i read something like that a few days ago. Overturning wade and roe has compelled so many people who wants it to register. There will be a high turn out this time. But an article i read this morning is making doubt if Democrats will flip a good number of sits.

I don't think he was going to win.

Hopefully Warnock avoids a runoff.
In a normal midterm cycle in October it would be obvious that the RepubliQans would win but since Trump awakened Americans on the power of their votes it hasn't been easy.

I remember salford or salford1 and others on this thread predict a high turnout in the midterm elections this year and its becoming clearer by the day that turnout will be high and Democrats may hold onto Congress and win other races too.

Thanks to GQP extremism overturning Roe and threatening Democracy.
I just hope that Democrats flip more sits in this Mid-term.

Who's sensing what I'm sensing? Very soon America will rally its allies to fight the gov'ment of Iran in support of the protesters and use that to deter Iran's nuclear aspiration. Can you remember Lybia? gringrin It's becoming interestinggrin

What's with Belarus joining the war on the side of Russia and WW3?? undecided
The last time I checked, US always go with allies in war.. UK, France, Australia, South Korea, Germany, Poland etc.. kiss
- But this is not a "war" but a "special military operation" so what will allies be doing in a SMO?

- The SMO didn't start with allies actively involved directly so joining the smo later on would have to be taken seriously.

He kowtowed to Putin. "After elections I'll be more flexible"

Was his last term. Sellout to Putin
Obama didn't kowtow to Putin. The decision not to install/site missile interceptors and a radar station in Poland and Czech Republic was as a result of an "updated intelligence" on Iran's long, short and midium-range missiles that showed they were capable of reaching Europe and that became a fresh matter of concern.
