Teams that finished between 1st and 8th earn automatic promotion to the round of 16.

How do teams finish in the top eight? When they win as many games in the group stage as they can.

Teams that finished between 9th and 16th will face team that finished between 17th and 24th in the play off. And teams that finished 25th and below are out of the UCL and won’t qualify for the Europa League or Conference League.
