Verily is actually a life science company, not tech company. The news has to be sensationalised, thats why their Parent company, Alphabet, which is a conglomerate had to be mentioned. Google is another company under Alphabet.

I just add that aside selling variations of same product (differing in shapes & sizes) on the same page, some might have entirely different items, some add special deals. Looking through the product images towards the buttom usually shows fine details, dimensions & any other thing you need to understand about that sales page.

I limit it to non-techy stuff generally i.e. bedsheets, household cleaning supplies, small portable products, cables & adapter, stickers/posters etc.. the risk with cloths even when you get accurate size is quality of materials, colors... I think they should limit their advertising. It's deceptive, misleading & employing "bait-and-switch" tactics!
