See, that's the part I'm trying to understand because personally, I'm not wired like that. For me to get the same reaction 1)it has to make sense & 2)it must be justifiable. I cannot find it in myself to get emotional over a situation I'm not directly affected by. That someone is dead is not reason enough for me to start sobbing. I try to make a connection between myself & the person, if there's none then I remain neutral. Anyway, I'm really not that good in emotionally charged situations because I have to have a valid reason to allow myself to bawl out.
Not for everyone People who matter to tylann like friends and relatives I can't cry for people i don't know about I only get emotional and send condolences
By the way that plane has killed everyone that was aboard 157 people
XhosaNostra: Do you, really? I can still remember the last time I was genuinely saddenen by someone's passing. Went through a long grieving period after losing a loved one some time back. The experience was without a doubt, emotionally taxing & obviously very personal, hence I felt the way I felt. Now I think I've come to a realization that death is part of living. Any time death happens, I tip my hat off to the departed & try not to grieve more than the bereaved so to speak (there's self-centeredness in that imo). In fact, I don't get emotionally involved at all because I feel if I got "touched" every time someone dies, I'd be freaking miserable.
Of course i care Death is always emotional and heartbreaking What i do is cry my heart out at lonely place And let time heal me I don't know what Mtis wants me to do
mtisTheQubit: fck what does business got to do with ths...that plane was also carrying Kenyans you know...
And that is why i sent condolences to both Ethiopians and Kenyans who they family members were in the plane So what do you want tylann to do I have sent my condolences that is enough for me
It sucks having the least confrontational person on this forum having your ass handed to you especially when everyone else including your Nigerian brothers has had their piece of you at some point. This running along refugee is the kind of loser I wouldn't even wish on my enemy.
Jonraid: Someone is on a rampage! The guy is trying hard to bring in Tanzania into the conversation. Can't say much though about people who kill albinos and regular little kids thinking they'll be rich!
The same things you expect from him kibera turkana and the likes nothing important
kikuyu1: Also land is cheap as EFF!! An acre in the West around Mbarara, averaged around 50k when I checked 2007. Also the entire south below L Kyoga is one huge wetland with giant rivers, lakes and swamps. The whole South is constantly green with plentiful and reliable rainfall. Truly,Ugandans don't know how good they have it!
rvp2018: They should entice Uganda with one tower, Rwanda with another and Burundi another - so hopefully Dar port can start doing half what Mombasa does - despite Tanzania neighboring like 10 landlocked countries.
Ujamaa economics They economy did bad actually in 2018 despite all the noise from magufuli
NairobiWalker: Yes, the government built them because Nairobi had skyscrapers and they wanted to compete. Now most of them are empty ghost towns. The average Tanzanian can't afford them and no multinational corporation is setting shop in Dar to want to rent them.
How can multinational corporations set shop in tz and magufool chased them away That is awakward Kenya used to do that in the moi era
Economy is run on demand and supply Not government egos
edon21: for those who say that afrobeats s prosperity s cause of Nigeria s population. can you explain what Chinese and Indian songs were doing when afrobeats became the 2nd most popular genre in the world
We are tired of those afrobeats of yours You are repeating here things so much Go ask Indian and Chinese they will answer you better
NairobiWalker: Somebody once came with that argument here before. I listed him all Kenyan complete skyscrapers, they were 10 and all owned by Kenya with foreigners having a few stakes in Britam, UAP and LeMac. They had only 6 complete skyscrapers and one of them 100% foreign owned with foreigners having stakes in another. Most of their skyscrapers under construction are either foreign owned or majority foreign owned yet they keep coming here for the same argument. The Tanzanian brothers, their government did what our government did in late 60s and 70s - build government owned towers. Now most of the new towers in Dar lack occupancy and since 2015, no new skyscraper has broken grown. All the new skyscrapers are already topped out now. Trust me, that skyline is going to remain unchanged for a very long time.
I never knew tz skyscrapers were owned by they govt And that is why they will remain empty forever .
rvp2018: Perfect description.Like KaziKazi - South Africa is their first semblance of a functional state. They worship it. They would kill their mothers for RSA Citizenship. You can bet they probably have pseudo-accounts where they pass for South Africans.
We have better countries in Africa than south Africa Countries like Botswana Namibia Mauritius Are better than south Africa I don't why they are always worshipping south Africa Inferiority complex is bad
That is history my brother from world poverty headquarters Give a 2019 pic showing kenyans starving Then i will deactivate my numerous accounts Northern nigeria is part of the un food aid 2019,
abbeg: Atleast Nigerians and Tanzanians own most of their biggest brands.Even eko Atlantic is 50% Lagos govt.NECOM tower(our tallest) is 100% percent nigerian.
jaycent: Look at this one see who's talking have feed your people, no, I mean have you feed yourself before you call others poor. KaziKazi come and give this idiot food before he dies for nothing
Tanzania has never fed Kenya They are more food insecure than kenya Meanwhile nigeria is receiving food aid in 2019 And yes your are embrassing Africa with your level of poverty Africa is poor But Nigeria is on another level
