IN 25 YEARS LIFE SPAN

We have based our calculations below based on average home power supply need.

DEPLOYING BINATONE 5.5Kva GASOLINE GENERATOR

1. Cost of Binatone 5.5Kva Gasoline Generator with 25L = N140,000
2. To fill 25 Litre Petrol : N96 x 25 Litres = N2,400
3. 25 L to last at Maximum 3 Day (Based on average Usage) – N2,400 X 3 times a week = N7,200/ Week.
4. In a month averagely : N7,200 X 4 times = N28,800
5. In a year N28,800 x 12 months = N345,600/ Year on just Petrol
6. Averagely in a year, there could be one break down with repair and servicing of average N15,000
7. The Generator served you max of 4 years and you decided to buy new one say at N145,000

Lets now sum the above to determine how much you would have spent on the conventional generator within the last 25 years :
a) Cost of Petrol in the last 25 years: N345,600/yr x 25 years = N8,640,000
b) You would have used at least 4 different generators within the last 25 years (thats you have a very reliable model to last that long) : N140,000 + N145,000 + N150,000 + N155,000 ( Considering fair Cost of Inflation) = N590,000
c) Averagely Cost of Repair and Servicing (Assuming there has been no major damage): N15,000/yr x 25 years: N375,000

NET COST OF RUNNING A CONVENTIONAL A 5.5Kva GENERATOR FOR 25 YEARS:

N8,640,000 + N590,000 + N375,000
