There is no meter to determine the exact amount of crude oil exported daily, they only have to depend on what the IOCs claim.

No accurate data on imported Petroleum products and subsidy scams engineered by NNPC againt Nigerians.

Crude oil theft, diversion of oil revenues and extra budgetary spending by the NNPC is yet to be addressed even till date.

If you want to restructure VAT, restructure oil revenue too. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. You can’t just realize that VAT is unfair to Lagos when you have benefited unfairly from oil/gas revenue for decades

If they have to restrure oil revenues, that means they will also have to restructure the tax and levies revenues which Lagos alone generate more that 50%.

The point is that, we need to take from the place of excess to feed the scarce. However, the annoying part is the governors of the states with scarce resources refusing to think outside the box when it comes to revenue generation. They rather wait to share the money allocated to them at the end of the month and wait for the following month.

Imo state that was said to be more developed than the entire northern Nigeria generated far lass than Zamfara that was regarded as rural area.

Dangote can decide to source for his crude and export 100% of his output, whilst paying the necessary taxes to LASG and FG and still break even by miles.

Russia started the war despite appeal and warning from US and EU but the bully wanted to set a precedent that will make it easier to deter the likes of Finland, Sweden etc from joining NATO but unknown to him, they have been giving him lamba about his military strength. But unfortunately, it drew those countries into his nightmare.

If Ukraine had started the war, US and EU wouldn't have been involved. If Putin had been allowed to bully Ukraine easily, he would have gone for another country in Europe particularly Finland.
