Sports / Chelsea's Dasilva Joins Bristol City On Permanent Deal by western4498: 1:08pm On Jun 27, 2019
Chelsea have allowed young full-back Jay Dasilva to join Bristol City on a permanent deal following a loan spell at Ashton Gate.

Dasilva spent the 2018-19 campaign at City, making 32 appearances and impressing on the left side of defence.

His performances helped him earn international recognition with the England Under-21s, winning a spot in their squad for the European Under-21 Championship in Italy, with the Young Lions failing to get out of the group.

It had been suggested Dasilva was in line to be given an opportunity to impress in Chelsea's first team in pre-season, particularly given their transfer ban and likely appointment of Frank Lampard as Maurizio Sarri's successor.

But the Blues have allowed the 21-year-old to depart for good, signing a four-year deal.

Sports / Cameroon Vs Guinea-bissau- Line Up And Prediction. by western4498: 5:07pm On Jun 25, 2019
Cameroon also met then-debutants Guinea-Bissau in their first match two years ago and came from behind to win 2-1 at the start of a campaign that ended in a final triumph over Egypt.

Just 10 of the 23-man winning squad are in Egypt, but the figure would have been higher had final matchwinner Vincent Aboubakar not been injured.
In the absence of the Porto forward, Cameroon will look to regular La Liga scorer Karl Toko Ekambi from Villarreal for goals as they pursue back-to-back titles.

At the back, the Lions will be in safe hands as goalkeeper Andre Onana was part of the Ajax team that stunned Real Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League last season.

A Guinea-Bissau side coached by local Baciro Cande and captained by Slovakia-based midfielder Zezinho lost a warm-up game against Angola 2-0 in Portugal and then slipped under the radar.

Sports / Brazil Frustrated By Venezuela Match Result 0-0 by western4498: 9:13am On Jun 19, 2019
Brazil were booed off the pitch after they had three goals ruled out in their 0-0 draw with Venezuela in the Copa America.

With VAR having already ruled out a Gabriel Jesus effort, the technology had the final say late on when Philippe Countinho's goal was ruled out as Roberto Firmino was adjudged to have handled the ball in the build-up.

Firmino had his own goal disallowed in the 38th minute when referee Julio Bascunan ruled that he had committed a foul in the process of scoring.

It proved to be a frustrating night for the hosts and the fans voiced their frustration at the full-time whistle.

"VAR was correct. I have absolutely nothing to demand. We got justice. They made the right call with both [VAR] goals," Brazil coach Tite said.

"We have to understand the supporters, they want to see goals and if I had been in the crowd I also would have wanted to boo us."

Brazil dominated possession and managed 20 goals on target but Venezuela coach Rafael Dudamel was delighted with his side's efforts.

"We played an almost perfect game against a team of brilliant individuals. Long live VAR," he said. "Today is very important, but this result will mean nothing if we don't qualify from the group."

Sports / Man Utd Rule Out Pogba Sale by western4498: 1:01pm On Jun 18, 2019
Manchester United are confident Paul Pogba will still be their player next season, despite the midfielder admitting for the first time that he is seeking a “new challenge”.

At a promotional event in Tokyo on Sunday, Pogba went on-the-record regarding his desire to leave Old Trafford, amid intense speculation and interest from Real Madrid.

“I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else,” he said.

“For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well, I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge.

Paul Pogba ready to go on strike
Pogba is currently under contract at Old Trafford until 2021, with United able to extend the midfielder’s existing deal by a further year.

United expect the World Cup-winning France international to report back for duty later this summer and remain at the club for the 2019-20 campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously spoken of his desire to build his United team around Pogba, who initially impressed when the Norwegian replaced Jose Mourinho as manager.

Zinedine Zidane, the Madrid head coach, is a long-term admirer of Pogba and in March, he openly entertained the prospect of Pogba joining him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
