till date, i am yet to hear from anyone that a stolen car was recovered with the aid of a gsm/tracking device. The honda CRV with tracking device belonging to a manager in my office is still at larger since March last year.

i believe this forum is an avenue for sellers and buyers to exchange information. It beats me why some people take offense when a question is asked. What does it take for the seller to post the vin and someone else checks it out. For me, any car posted without a vin is suspect. I am sure if a buyer approaches the seller where the car is located and asks about the bumper he would give an answer on the spot.
Selling cars requires some basic skills. That is why i think a lot of guys selling cars here should take some lessons from inspired_m. If u raise a question about a car his selling he'll provide an answer to allay your concerns and actually give reasons why you should buy his car at the price he's offering it.

So one need not wonder why some car sellers are more successful than others, some are more skillful than others. where one seller takes offense at a question another seller takes advantage of the same question to convince to buy.

Anyway, happy sale.
