Just got verified on binance and I'm about funding my account. From the self learning I've done so far, my undestanding is that I'll fund my wallet on Binance with USDT using peer2peer then I can swap with any coin of interest; Just wanted to confirm if this is the right procedure or am I missing anything?

Also, do I have to move my crypto from the exchange to a trust wallet or I can leave it on the exchange? How safe is leaving it on an exchange like Binance?
