Get that simple fact into your little BLOODTHIRSTY skull.
You are dangerously playing with a Russian or Chinese or Pakistani NUKE against Israel to end your reign of terror in the region. Oga what is your problem? Are you Iranian, Russian, Chinese, or even Pakistani? Why are you taking the matter so personal. Get out there and do something meaningful with your life and stop this folly here |

SEOJanitor: Trump. Can't do beans. Most you NL users think this is a Hollywood movie 😂 I see and read what people like you post here and I laugh out loud. You all come here and act like you understand international politics but knowing nothing actually If you must know, nothing stops Trump from losing Iran to Stone Age. But not everyone is a terrorist. If the ball were to be in Iran’s court, by now the whole of USA and allies will be nuclear attacked Trump had to consider the future consequences and innocent lives at stake. If Iran didn’t know his threats were serious, why did they form human shields at those structures that had been marked to be blown up? Use your head sometimes |

goslowgoslow: Both sides are losing Mr go and rest. How are both sides losing? Now let’s do the analytics 1. Many Iranian top men are down but no US top man is down 2. The US mainland still remains intact but structures in Iran have been blown to smitherings. 3. Thousands of lives have been lost on the Iranian side but a few only have been lost on the US side 4. A large portion of Iranian military gadgets have been taken down, but only a few American war hardwares have been taken down. Keep in mind that the US has over 13,000 military aircrafts and Iran has managed to hit not up to 8. Let me stop here… So tell me are both sides actually losing? Is Iran still winning? |

Trump talks too much That’s the difference between America and other nations. They know much has been given to them and much is expected of them. Lethal?
Their victory (with the support of several allies) in world war 2 birthed this myth of American military invincibility. Vietnam punctured that myth.
The only military 'victories' the USA has recorded in recent times have always required the support of strong allies - allies who are invariably military powers themselves. Whenever the US alone fights an adversary, (that is, an adversary that can actually fight - and not small, defenceless countries like Grenada or Panama) the Americans never achieve their war objectives. (partly because those objectives are never clearly defined from the get go).
Everyone is waiting to see how this conflict with Iran plays out. If the Americans deploy ground troops then they have already 'lost'.
I say they have 'lost' because somehow, the Americans have sold the idea (first to the world, and then to the American public), that the US is so invincible that it cannot suffer casualties on the battlefield. Which of course is nonsense - men on both (or all) sides die in war - usually in large numbers.
The US pulled out of Somalia's 1990s conflict because the American public couldn't bear the sight of the corpses of dead US service men being dragged through the streets of Mogadishu. That reluctance to accept the reality of war still plagues American public attitudes towards the numerous conflicts their country is engaged in. Which of course raises the question: why do their governments start these wars if the American public has no stomach for them?
Wars don't last for a day or two. They drag on for months and years and decades. Anybody who thinks war is a quick, surgical, clean affair - is delusional. If the US deploys ground troops in Iran, it will be a long, bloody affair and the American public will eventually turn against the war when their casualties begin to mount...as they most certainly will. The next course of action for the US government will be a humiliating exit, with none of the US war objectives (whatever they may be) met. It won't be the first time - and sadly not the last, either. You typed all these epistles and yet passed no tangible message. You still need to learn a lot |

dragunov: I told some mooks on this forum but they won't listen. That country is efficiently scary military wise. A country where ordinary citizens have private armory in their basements filled with scores of hardwares. As in confirmed beautiful looking automatic and semi automatic guns and shotguns of different assortments and styles. All you need is to be able to afford buying them with getting licensed. If you see the latest shotguns these people are manufacturing, you will bow. Let’s assume any country attacks US mainland, they’ll be having a bad day and bleeding nose because even the citizens have armory and are good with weapons |

Yet this same country can spend billions of dollars killing people on the other side of the planet. Some just eat up American propaganda without question. Oga that happens everywhere. sigmax: The USA really tried in the rescue ,a lot of efforts were put in place and resources sacrificed just to save one person .
The USA has an advantage of exact location due to pinging but Iranians didn't ,and they had to comb a very large area but the only weakness of Iran is the inability to dominate the search area . Though they successfully downed more aircrafts, they shouldn't have allowed foreign power an operation in their country, that's lack of dominance in the search area .
However ,this events will reset both parties brain ,the USA will think twice before carrying air or ground operations in Iran now and Iran will put more effort to tackle the resolve of their enemies. That’s to tell you what would happen if the US finally puts boots on ground in Iran. |

Gotocourt: I watched it on FOX TV, how the second Airman was rescued. USA military are powerful and daring in their operation. Nothing will be allowed around the operation radius. Laser designator, armed C130, fighter jet and Apaches will be hitting up enemies. They have dare-devil and well trained military men, who can thrive through enemy lines |
Foreign Affairs › Re: How US Fooled Iran To Rescue Missing Airman Stranded In Mountain Crevice by wildkat: 4:56pm On Apr 05 |
The question here should be "How did the US forces get into Iran undetected, and how were they able to carry out their mission successfully despite the hostile environment they found themselve?"
Truly America is great
