UDUAGHAN CONGRATULATES OKOWA,PDP OVER VICTORY AT THE COURT OF APPEAL
"Calls on other parties to join hands with Okowa to build the state"

The Immediate Past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Peoples Democratic Party on the appeal court verdict that uphold the election of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa. He describe the victory as well deserved and as Xmas gift for all Deltans.

Dr. Uduaghan in a statement in Warri after the appeal court gave its verdicts said the ruling was a further demonstration that Deltans overwhelmingly voted for the PDP and Okowa during the elections.
He said: “The appeal court verdict is very well deserved and a confirmation of the legality of Governor Okowa’s victory at the governorship election. It goes without saying that the PDP is the party of choice in Delta State.
“Deltans have always cast their votes for the PDP and the result of the governorship election and in fact other elections symbolise that the party’s candidate won convincingly which should not have been challenged in the first instance.
“I am therefore using this opportunity to call on all Deltans, especially our brothers in the other parties to join hands with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to build and develop a virile state where every person is treated and accorded due dignity.”
Dr. Uduaghan, while commending the Appeal court judges for delivering on their duties without fear or favour, called on Governor Okowa to see the victory as a further mandate to deliver prosperity to all Deltans irrespective of party affiliations.

FUPRE COLLECT #3000 FROM POST UME STUDENTS JUST TO CHECK POST UME RESULTS.WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT TO THE EDUCATIONAL SECTOR.
It is so shameful that the federal University of petroleum Resources Effurun(FUPRE) is now in a stage of robbing post utme students by collecting #3000 just to check Post Utme Results where students dont even know if they will pass or not.The University which is on ground since 7yrs ago is just like a university that started 2 Months ago in terms of Infrastructural development, yet students have been paying developmental fee of Ten Thousand naira every section since 7yrs ago yet no one knows where this money is going. The University still focus on rentage of hostels in accommodating students outside the school premises where they spent over 25Million yearly in paying the owners of the hostel buildings presently.Recently a student was shot dead by criminals from the host community(UGBROMO) close to their hostel(The hostel can also be tag as a forest hostel because an institution that is concern about the welfare of students cannot rent such a place for students to reside) the death of the student led to a peaceful protest by student leaders where they demand for a change of hostel outside the host community since the host community is hostile to students living in the community. The question is,Its it the Post UME student money that they want to use in renting new accommodation for students or they want to use the money to buy fast food for their Senate/Council meetings.
*THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS INSTITUTION HOW THEY SPEND THE MONEY GIVING TO THEM FOR DEVELOPMENT
*THE FG SHOULD VISIT ALL FILES CONCERNING THE INSTITUTION SINCE 2007
