The writer of the article appeared convinced and biased that PMB missed it a lot by putting round pegs in square hole. Sir , Governing the country Nigeria requires a much more critical reasoning and unusual or unpopular approach in making decisions and executing them. The approach includes but not limited to personal believes in the appointees by the leader and usually in the best interest of all. I for one would have been dissapointed if he had made fashola being a SAN the minister of Justice. Why? ..well because fashola is loaded than that and has a lot more to offer. Hence the reason he gave him multiple responsibilities . Secondly. .let us get it right and see for once that your degrees on paper does not automatically translate to better performance in your area of specialty, and I think this is where the writer misconstrued the ideology. If that was the case how come Dr Ngozi made a mess of the Economy as the coordinating minister and finance minister. If you noticed PMB's approach you will know that he consults wide and he is driven by self believe in the appointees to perform . For instance. ..when he appointed the Rtd Major to head and reform the Nigeria Customs Service. Some said what has the military experience got to do with paramilitary. ..but PMB saw performance in the appointee instead. Some even said he should have appointed him as EFCC chairman instead. But with the new EFCC head appointed few days ago...I guess we didn't see what PMB saw.... performance once again . To round up. .I noticed the writer of the article compared this appointment to GEJ. ..and appraised him better than PMB. I laughed. Please what did GEJ see in Obanikoro by appointing him Minister of state for Defence. Did he see performance in him too? Yes of course. ..but performance for personal interest in engineering election malpractices. Let's celebrate that we have a good leader now that has the interest of the nation at heart. And please remind the writer also that Deziani Allison Maduake was once a Minister of GEJ too. Oh by the way...What did he see in her?..performance?
