Government to them is a business, that's why they can do anything even if it involves suffocation of the masses. |
The problem of Africa is that politics is a big business and fastest way of becoming billionaire over night. Only very few have the masses interest at heart. That is why when people are starving and dieing in hunger, they are busy buying the must expensive cars, aeroplane and enjoying the ostentatious lifestyle. Why should the masses protest when they are expected to be suffering and smiling, and dieing in silence. Instead of talking to the masses, pleading and convincing them that government has their interest at heart. They resorted to threatening and harassment the citizens. Their conscience is disturbing them , they knew that they have performed badly. That is why they are afraid of the protest. It is better to allow the masses express their frustration peaceful, instead of soaking their anger. One day it will explode. |
Salewa97:Stop your vain consolation, so you think that Kenneth Okonkwo left LP to celebrate Tinubu. When Kenneth begins to bash harder on this government, don't complain, just continue to. praise him for leaving LP. |
People who celebrating the Resignation of Kenneth Okonkwo from labour Party thought that he has resigned to support this government. Na laugh I dey laugh. Kenneth I know is a principled human being, he knows where he is going and what he wants. And I tell you and can take it to the bank this government stands for everything K O preachs against. Ken saw Peter Obi's approach for a better Nigeria as slow and void of spark. He had resigned from labour Party to join Nigerians who want an urgent change for a better new Nigeria now. Peter Obi being the kind of person he is adopted a civilized approach in his quest for a better Nigeria. He believes in non violence way of bringing a change. |
What has Peter Obi done badly, nothing. He is the best so far. We know the credibility of who follow. |
Nigeria is now or never, we have to win it or lose it for ever-Sony Okosun |
All these propaganda to stop the protest is a waist of time. What goes around comes around. What I think that will avert this protest is for those who were involved in the protest of 2012 both people in government and those outside the government is to make an open confession to Nigerians that they use deceit and false propaganda to push people into protest against the Goodluck Jonathan administration. Also render special apology to Goodluck Jonathan. I still pray for a better Nigerian |
Government should show greater concern to these because it is their duty by law to take adequate care of them for they are in their custody. |
4godsake:It should be done in official way. The proper procedure must be followed. Anything brought in the prisons, I mean edible the must be tasted by the donor before it can be shared. |
Everything no be Gara Gara. Intimidation cannot make those who are hungry to feel satisfied neither can it make a bag of rice to come down from 100k 27k. The problem of this administration is that they believe that propaganda and intimidation will cover their inability and incompetent. Wike thought that high handedness and intimidation he used in rivers to silence the good people of rivers will also succeed in Abuja the federal capital territory. In Abuja you have intellectuals, international communities, etc. If he mismanages the upcoming protest, it will cause a serious harm to the administration. If this government has the interest of the masses at hand, they would have been speaking, meeting and dialoguing with people. They should have learnt one or two thing from Goodluck Jonathan. |
Nigerians need to extend their bowel of mercy to these inmates though thing are difficult but a little sacrifice will go a long way to help. |
The economic condition of the country that necessitated the current severe hardship is affecting everybody. The rich is now living like a middle class, middle class like low class and low class is now living like a begger. The other day I was passing through the frontage of a big cathedral where beggers use to stay and ask for arms. The church members were seen entering the church but non look at their site. I noticed that they look malnourished especially the young ones. I remembered that before now people use to stop and drop N50, N100 etc but now no brother in jungle because of the present hardship. In my usual routine visit to the prisons last week, I discovered that serious malnutrition has returned to the correctional center. Even if people are bringing food items to the inmates, I tell you, it will not get the inmates for hardship breeds corruption. I pray that it wouldn't get to 1980s and 1990s experience when the inmates were subjected to experience hell on earth, that made Nigeria to be rated the worst prison on earth. Until Obasanjo came and brought changes and reformation. I PRAY TO WELL MEANING NIGERIANS TO REMEMBER PRISON INMATES ESPECIALLY IN A TIME LIKE THIS. |
I Abe na potable dey talk or na Ogo good day talk. |
Tochitee:Until the Almighty Yoruba says it is Igbos turn. Pride goes before fallen. |
chrisxxx:If you people know exactly what you have done to yourselves, nobody dances to music composed to mock his or her mother. Nothing last forever, soon or later all these conspiracies, hatred and marginalization of the Igbos will give way. Meritocracy and healthy competition will then be established. Then you see the human capacity divinely endowed on the igbo man you rejected today. Praise God today is far better the early 70's, immediately after the war, we have passed the worst period in our history. In all these wicked policies against the igbos We still have igbo bu igbo. |
I like the way APC is passing the whole blame to Peter Obi and Obidient. Propaganda is a component tool in governance especially in Africa in general and Nigeria in particular. |
I like the way APC is passing the whole blame to Peter Obi and Obidients. Propaganda is a powerful instrument in governance as far as Nigeria is concerned |
It pains me how some people denied themselves only to be accepted by Nigerians. Well, Nigerians have told them that their voice are that of Jacob while their bodies are that of Esua. |
Peter Obi is at the center of Nigerian problem, l |
I want to reveal to this government what should be done to have a smooth ride. Peter Obi is the cause of economic hardship in Nigeria, therefore he should be arrested. It is Peter Obi that made Nigerians to talk about the present economy scourge and then complained bitterly. Before now Nigerians are used to suffering and smiling but Peter Obi has changed the narrative. If this government succeeded in silencing Peter Obi, they have pocketed the opposition. |
Peter Obi has also threatened to sue Onanuga for his big mouth. Onanuga talks like a baby with all the years he spent in journalism. |
Onanuga must face the music, tribalism has beclouded his reasoning. |
It is very painful that the respect Nigerians have for Prof Wole Soyinka is just fading away. Some people think that other people's brain do not work but only theirs. The actions of Wole Soyinka have destroyed all his packaging and place him at the level of an ordinary politician |
With pain in my heart as I was watching where people's chops and livelihood were being destroyed. In a time like this when people are passing through hell because of the economic hardship in country. More people will die under this situation and many will turn to crime. If all these demolition is politically motivated, let their conscience give them no rest because they are washing their hands with human blood. We are in African where wickedness, tribalism and religion is magic wade with which politicians use get to power. |
Wisdomkosi:I wonder how this Onanuga condescend to this level of tribal bigotry, may be it has been in his blood and now finds the opportunity to showcase it. |
It is a welcome development. Old man like Onanuga talking like a baby.If our judiciary will leave up to expectations let that cost of 500 billion be awarded against him |
Chinkoalhaji34:Who is causing disunity Obidigbo or Onanuga? See Onanuga is putting tribal knife on that thing that binds us together. Obidigbo on the other side as a patriot is advising this administration to see the dangers of Onanuga's action and in action. |
Until the president begins to take advice from reasonable Nigerians, from the likes of Dr Chike Obidigbo, he will continue to make blunders that will cost him his second tenure ambition and derail our democratic process. |
Thank God that Nigerians are talking to president Tinubu of the consequences of allowing Onanuga to remain as one of his advisers because Onanuga is threading on a dangerous part that will cost this administration 2027 election. |
I took my time to read the submissions of Dr Chike Obidigbo. I pray that President Tinubu will understand the damage Onanuga is doing to this administration. |
it has became unbearable for Nigerians, the economy is so bad that a bag of rice is now 100k,litre of fuel N900, basket of tomatoes 150k. The masses should complain by protesting. It has started working, the members of the house of Rep have decided to go home with half of their salary. Orji uzor Kalu has even suggested to the senate members to do legislative work part time because of the poor economy thereby reducing the cost of governance. The protest will make the government to feel the heat and then set up. |
EcoNews:May be the conspiracy of burning the mall is to weaken the spirit of Peter Obi. Obi has no ego, the humble man is going about doing good to people, building schools, bore holes, helping people in the idp camps. The people that set the mall ablaze are they happier. weaken Peter |
