Swallow by Sefi Atta has been adapted into a Netflix original film produced by Kunle Afolayan, one of Nollywood's top producers. Swallow will be released on October 1, 2021. Swallow features a stellar cast, including musician Eniola ‘Niyola' Akinbo in the lead role of Tolani Ajao, a bright-eyed young woman attempting to make it in the obstacle-ridden Lagos. Brilliant actors Ijeoma Grace Agu (as Rose), Deyemi Okanlanwon (as Sanwo), Eniola Badmus (as Mrs. Durojaiye), Chioma Akpotha (as Mama Chidi), Kevin Ikeduba (as OC), Offiong Anthony Edet (as Johnny), and veteran Olusegun Remi (as Mr. Salako) round out the stellar cast list. |

Let this book be your companion for the day! The rains have arrived in Nigeria, and I believe this book is perfectly suited to the weather. It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover is said to be one of the most heartbreaking novels you will ever read. This new adult novel is set in Boston and is told from the perspective of its protagonist, Lily Bloom (funny name).
