You will have to use Google Analytics to get a good idea of your actual visit and pageviews. Blogger is a single page template and its starts are always inconsistent with actual visit |

While MMM Zimbabwe was collapsing, some 'smart' Zimbabweans who are still interested of making money from Ponzi Schemes have started WhatsApp Ponzi Schemes, perhaps to fill the vacuum created by MMM. Since MMM froze Mavros (Ponzi currency used in the network by members to determine the value of donations and interests), many former members who have learnt through the ropes have taken it upon themselves to float various WhatsApp groups that operate like a 'pseudo-MMM'. A typical WhatsApp Ponzi Scheme is operated by an admin who controls just about everything on the group. All members are required to pay the admin about USD3 per week to remain in the group. Just like MMM, there are no guarantees or promise of payback by any member who receives help in the group. To forestall immediate collapse of a typical WhatsApp Ponzi Scheme, the admin typically regulates the admission rate in the group to ensure the number of deposits and withdrawals are regulated. Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote said he is still very much interested in buying Arsenal Football Club, one of the four leading teams in the English Premier League. He made this known today in New York where he said he looks forward to buying the team in the next four years. Last year, Dangote had made known his intention to buy the football club but, later shelved the decision. Dangote is currently involved in a USD20 billion refinery project in Lagos. Coupled with his investments in Dangote Cement, he said he will want to focus on getting over with those before gearing up to go for the deal. Dangote is worth about USD10 billion by Bloomberg billionaire index. Arsenal is said to worth about GBP1,7 billion based on its market capitalisation. Dangote has not disclosed what he plans to do with the team but he told Bloomberg that he plans to run it better and it will not be “business as usual” when he is in charge. Part of the reason for waiting for the next four years to make the offer for the football club is also as a result of the huge loss to his portfolio after the depreciation of the Naira (NGN). In June, Dangote had confirmed that he has closed a loan deal with ICBC of China to further develop two of his Cement factories. If for anything Dangote has just confirmed he has more on his plates than to focus on buying a football club. Source: https://pageone.ng/2016/09/21/dangote-buy-arsenal-fc-four-years/ |
Three weeks after its reported collapse which the organisation referred to as 'freezing of Mavros' and 'discounting', MMM Zimbabwe members still cannot withdraw their deposits or 'donations' with the huge interest and bonuses. Apparently shakened by the flurry of media attention on the 'collapse' of MMM Zimbabwe, MMM East Africa, Administrator of MMM Zimbabwe is using misleading information to deceive unsuspecting members and visitors to the site (ea-) that the Ponzi scheme is still providing help. While MMM East Africa has not made any public comment on the health of MMM Zimbabwe, the scheme has gone ahead to publish verbatim, supposed letters from satisfied members who 'GH' (got help- another word for withdrawal with promised 30% interest and bonuses). However, operators of the scheme are did not notice that all the actual dates in the testimonies of 'satisfied' members were dated before the day the its collapse was reported. As at 09.00am Nigerian time (GMT+1 West Central Africa), none of the testimonies posted in the website was done after the 6th of September, 2016. This further validates last week's report that MMM Zimbabwe was probably collapsing. The admin had between the 5th or 9th of September froze withdrawals and slashed old members' deposit by 80% via its technical devaluation of the Mavro (its Bitcoin-linked Ponzi currency used a measurement of donation on the platform). In reply to a buzz of negative publicity, MMM had responded saying: https://pageone.ng/2016/09/21/mmm-zimbabwe-withdraw-deposits/ |
