From working as a receptionist at a radio station in 2019, I was promoted to the programs department. However, due to a colleague who was despite my promotions, I was reassigned to the reception desk. Then, COVID-19 came and I was asked to choose between my career and my business. I chose Digital Bimpe, and that was the beginning of my real journey to becoming the amazing digital marketing expert I am today. I am being recognized and interviewed on radio station IBR 92.5FM to share my story. Thank you to the amazing Ibadan audience for having me, and to IBR 92.5FM for the great recognition of allowing me to be on your impact business radio show. I am honored to be among the tech entrepreneurs who have impacted so many lives, and I know that this is not by my own power, but by the grace of God. The radio interview questions I responded to were: * Brief info about yourself * How did you come by the Internet business? * What is your area of specialization in tech? * Your biggest challenges * How did you overcome them * How long did it take you to break through? * What needs to be done as a starter in your line of work? * What category of people can be successful in it? Indeed, results speak for me. I truly deserve this recognition, and hard work and consistency pay off. I am a living testimony of a goal-getter and a woman who never gives up and believes in her art. Much love from Global Digital Bimpe.

الدومه أبكر: Goal 12 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations is to “ensure sustainable consumption and production (SCP) patterns.” Watch & Subscribe ⬇️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRiIoQsxp6c?si=rhzH9dlXMs45CHP6 It means being mindful about what, how, and how much we produce and consume so that the earth’s resources are used judiciously and preserved for future generations. Here are some easy ways to curb your consumption, reduce your footprint, and do your part to make the planet a better place in the process. 1. Reduce Your Use of Plastic Plastic seems to be public enemy number one these days, and for good reason: It’s clogging our oceans and landfills in terrifying amounts, and takes hundreds (even thousands) of years to break down. Once you start noticing how prevalent plastic is in our daily lives, you can start avoiding it whenever possible. 2. Shop Locally.. Local business owners, whether it’s a gift shop or a clothing store, often have a smaller carbon footprint than their big-box competitors. In addition, they employ local residents, keeping profits within the community and helping boost the local economy—a win-win for everyone. 3. Learn to Repair Your Stuff: One of the easiest ways to reduce your consumption is to learn to repair your gear, clothing, and household items instead of continually buying new ones. Another easy way to extend the life of your gear is care kits. 4.Volunteer for a Sustainability-Focused Initiative.. Contributing your time and money to organizations and projects that care for Earth’s natural wonders gives you a whole new level of respect for the environment—and allows you to connect with like-minded people. 5. Travel Lightly There’s no way around the fact that travel isn’t great for the planet, but there are many ways you can make it less harmful. First of all, you can purchase carbon credits, which help offset the impact (some airlines even allow you to donate miles in exchange for carbon credits). How can I help as a consumer? There are two main ways to help: Reducing your waste and Being thoughtful about what you buy and choosing a sustainable option whenever possible. Ensure you don’t throw away food, and reduce your consumption of plastic—one of the main pollutants of the ocean. Carrying a reusable bag, refusing to use plastic straws, and recycling plastic bottles are good ways to do your part every day. Why do we need to change the way we consume? Economic and social progress over the last century has been accompanied by environmental degradation that is endangering the very systems on which our future development and very survival depend. Implement the 10‑Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns, all countries taking action, with developed countries taking the lead, taking into account the development and capabilities of developing countries Encourage companies, especially large and transnational companies, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle. Business Owners Should Represent Themselves In Positive Way To Avoid Giving Bad Representation To Those That Work With Your Brand I received a call from an old international brand located in the US that I managed in 2021. The customer patronized them this year, and the brand that I have not managed for two years now contacted me, thinking that I am still their manager. Most of the management we do is on contract. When I managed that brand, it was for two or three months, and that was it. Back to the story, they reached out to me, and I had to listen carefully to avoid assuming anything. I realized that the brand did not deliver, which is a bad representation, and it was linked to me. What am I trying to say exactly? If you are a brand that I am managing or am about to manage, please portray yourself in a good light to avoid bad representation. Many brands are focused on sales and underdeliver, which is wrong. This is the third time I have received a complaint from brands that I manage, and I am not a big fan of bad representation. Have the integrity to do what is right at the right time.
