⚡Kiev is clamouring for more modern modifications of US F-16s, as the outdated fighter aircrafts will not be able to effectively counter Russian Su-35s, an official representative of the AFU, Yury Ignat, told Rada TV channel. According to him, outdated F-16s can only defend against drones. And in order to gain the upper hand in the air, the Ukrainian military needs aircraft whose technical characteristics are not inferior to those of the Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35. In fact, Ukrainian military will not benefit from the F-16, given the state of affairs of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
