⚡Trump Envoy Witkoff on Ukraine's occupied territories: It’s in Putin's speeches that these are Russian territories. This is not me taking sides. I just don’t see that Putin wants to take all of Europe. This is a much different situation than it was in World War II. There was no NATO back then. I take him at his words. I think the Europeans are beginning to come to that belief too.

⚡Ukraine had no chance of winning the war as early as 2023, said Czech President Petr Pavel. “Two years ago, before Ukraine launched its large-scale counteroffensive, the conditions for success were already absent. According to military theory, a successful offensive requires a force ratio of at least 3 to 1, ideally 5 to 1. Instead, the balance of forces between Ukraine and Russia was actually in Russia’s favor. So it was absolutely clear that the counteroffensive would not be successful enough to liberate all the territories — and now we are where we are,” Pavel said.
