⚡Canada should cancel the purchase of F-35 fighter jets from the U.S.

Michael Byers, co-director of the Outer Space Institute, urges Canada to cancel its F-35 purchase, citing U.S. political instability and reliance on American-controlled systems.

He warns that without access to the aircraft’s source code, Canada would lack full operational control, compromising its sovereignty.

Lockheed Martin, the U.S. defense contractor responsible for the F-35, refuses to share this code with foreign customers, even close allies. This means:

• Every training or combat mission would require a mission data load processed through U.S. computing facilities.

• The U.S. government could deny access to these facilities, effectively crippling Canada’s F-35 fleet if it chooses to exert pressure.

• The stealth coatings on the jets can only be maintained in the U.S. or Australia, further limiting Canada’s operational independence.

Byers gives a stark warning:

“If the United States wished to invade Canada, it could achieve air superiority – perhaps with just a few keyboard strokes.”

⚡First confirmed destruction of an Israeli Drone Dome system in the SMO zone.

At 30 seconds into the video, the system is seen destroyed along with its command post, which was hiding in a garage.

Irony of fate: the anti-drone system was taken out by a drone.

The Israeli-made Drone Dome is a counter-drone system designed to detect, track, and neutralize UAVs using electronic warfare and laser interception. Developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, it’s a key part of Israel’s air defense capabilities.

Despite Israel’s official stance of neutrality, Israeli military technology has found its way to Ukraine, likely via third-party deals. The Drone Dome’s presence suggests Kiev is seeking advanced anti-drone defenses against Russian UAVs, which have played a crucial role in the conflict.

This marks a significant blow to Ukraine’s counter-drone efforts and raises questions about the silent transfer of Israeli defense tech to the battlefield.

Nope. That's just local currency, like naira.
I'm sure if Russia wants anything from Syria, Syria will demand for nothing less than US DOLLARS!
So why didn't they demand for dollar shipment na.

Matter of fact, Syrian oil is traded in Rubles. That was the deal Assad had with Russia.

True, because there is a Russian agent masquerading as the president of the United States.
Nonsense.

It has nothing to do with the US.

A US president have no effect whatsoever on Russia's foreign policies. Everyone fights for their interests.

You supported a dictator against rebel for several years and the rebel took over at last and before we close eyes and open it, you're already romancing with the rebel you could not defeated.
Could not defeat how?

Were Russia on the front lines in Syria? Syria had over 200k troops defending their country, Russia had less than 5k troops in Syria. Why didn't the Syrians fight for their own country?

They had the numbers. The rebels were only 18,000.

Worry more about the dictators in Africa the US is supporting. Or the Saudi dictator who butchered a reporter in broad daylight.

You know nothing about international politics except to masturbate on anything pro Russia and anti west. Bilateral ties will continue to exist between countries including enemies besides, this is pure business
Dummy.

Did I say anything about bilateral ties?

I was talking about those that were jubilating about the fake news that Russia is evacuating from its bases in Syria.

Even Russia still paid gas transit fees to Ukraine, until foolish Zelensky stopped it last year.

It would be great if everybody would get rid of their nuclear weapons.

I know Russia and us have by far the most. China will have an equal amount within 4-5 years. It would be great if we could all de-nuclearize because the power of nuclear weapons is crazy.

This is reported by El Mundo, noting that Warsaw is paying for 20,000 network terminals for Kiev's use. At the same time, the newspaper believes that the US does not seem to see any problem in clashing with old allies.

Earlier, Reuters reported that the French group Eutelsat is exploring the possibility of replacing the telecommunications services provided to Ukraine by Starlink.
