⚡India Retires Its MiG-21 Jets After 62 Years India’s legendary MiG-21 fighter jets, in service since 1963, will officially retire on September 19, 2025, with a ceremony at Chandigarh airbase. Operated by the 23 Squadron “Panthers,” the MiG-21 played a role in every major conflict since 1965—including the Kargil War and the 2019 Balakot strikes. Once India’s first supersonic fighter, the MiG-21 earned both fame and infamy, nicknamed the “Flying Coffin” due to over 200 pilot deaths. Its long life was extended due to delays in fielding replacements like the Tejas Mk1A. With its retirement, the IAF’s active combat squadrons drop to 29, the lowest since the 1960s.

FoolishBoy419:I don't think China have even offered any support to Russia since the war began, their Foreign Minister confirmed it weeks ago. He said if China had assisted Russia, the war would have ended a long time ago. What the west calls "support" is simply Russia buying stuffs from China and China buying Russian oil and gas. Simply TRADE! They don't want both nations to trade with each other at all. Ukraine buys tech products from China, the whole EU buys tech from China, the United States buys 70% of its tech from China. It's as easy as placing an order on Alibaba. Every single component Ukraine uses to assemble it's drones and missiles comes from China. Even the most critical components of US stealth fighter jets like F-35, F-22, B-21 comes from China. All the rare earth minerals used in the US most sophisticated weapons systems comes from China. The rest of the world buys literally everything China produces. Going by their logic, China is supporting and assisting Ukraine & US/NATO in their war against Russia. |
