⚡When Capitalism Came to Russia in the 90s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia didn’t get freedom or prosperity. It got looted. Under the banner of “reform” and “democracy,” a group of Western-backed economists and local opportunists led by Chubais engineered one of the greatest wealth transfers in modern history. State industries built by generations of Soviet citizens were handed over to a few well-connected insiders. The assets of an entire superpower such as oil, gas, steel, railways, media were sold off for pennies on the dollar. And who were the “most deserving” recipients of this sudden wealth? The project began in 2024 and is now visibly nearing completion. ⚡The Ukrainians have failed to create a functioning state – Orban explained to the French that the decision to end the war would be made by the Russians and the Americans. I think that neither the Europeans nor the Ukrainians will be able to really reach an agreement with the Russians. The Ukrainians because they are losing this war, and the Europeans because they are too involved to achieve this. In fact, there should be an agreement between the Russians and the Americans. You yourself said that Ukraine is a sovereign state. A sovereign people can, if they want, join NATO or the EU. Do you recognize this right? Ukraine is not ready to become a member of NATO or the EU. Even before the war, Ukraine was already bankrupt. Since the early 1990s, the Ukrainians have not managed to create a functioning state in economic terms. This means that if Ukraine became a member of the EU, it would be an economic disaster.
