⚡Full interview of Luo Wanwei, head of the Philippine Institute for National Security Studies, with a Chinese journalist: “The Philippine government under the leadership of President Marcos Jr. is under pressure from the United States.” The militarization of the Philippines under the American umbrella is not good for the Filipino people. The decision to deploy US missiles on Philippine soil is contrary to the principle of friendship and cooperation in Southeast Asia , as well as peace and neutrality. Now the Philippines is not a neutral country. Manila actively supports the United States. It is dangerous for the current Philippine government to allow the United States to do such things. This makes the Philippines a pawn in the ongoing geopolitical rivalry in the region involving the US. Many ASEAN member countries oppose the militarization of the region. The involvement of the US and other countries, including Japan and Australia, will only make the situation worse. To ease tensions in the South China Sea , the Philippines must take the first step to restore trust between Manila and China. And, if there is mutual trust between the two countries, then they will begin to talk about how to further cooperate. And there are many ways for cooperation. China has been friends with the Philippines for a very long time. They are permanent neighbors. In the past, the South China Sea did not separate the Filipinos and the Chinese; on the contrary, it connected peoples. This is the source of our connection, not separation.

Procashtips:How about putting it under Russian MOD control? Huge battlefield successes were made during Wagners reign because they weren't afraid of losses. They were mostly prisoners. They should have used Wagner to capture Odessa at least before disbanding. All these threats from Ukranian sea drones wouldn't have existed if they did. NATO wouldn't dare attack from their territory (Romania). But with 700k troops already in Ukraine, Russia has big plans for them. |

⚡The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts that Russia’s economy will grow up to 2.6% in 2024, up from the IMF’s original forecast in October 2023. Speaking about the Kremlin’s financial position, Alexandra Prokopenko, fellow at the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Centre, said sanctions had “paradoxically enough, protected the economy from certain external shocks”. “Economic growth in Russia today benefits from the fact that the Russian economy is heavily geared toward free market mechanisms and forces, increased levels of government spending and the willingness of China and India to import vast quantities of Russian hydrocarbons.”

⚡Kremlin: Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s appointment as NATO’s secretary general will not “change anything” for Russia, which still sees the alliance as an enemy, the Kremlin said Wednesday. “It is unlikely that this choice can change anything in the general line of NATO,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. “At the moment, this is an alliance that is an enemy for us.” |
⚡Armenia accuces Russia of "seizing Karabakh and then handing it over to Azerbaijan." Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan: This happened when we were completely dependent on Russia. Russia came, took Karabakh from us, returned it to Azerbaijan, then left, that’s the whole reality. Without Russia’s permission, there would be no war. Military-technical cooperation between Armenia and Russia now has fallen from 96% to less than 10%. Russian authorities refuse supplies of weapons under already signed contracts.

Lawag3:No. Russia withdrew because European leaders gave it as a condition before any agreements would be signed. Ukraine ditched the signed agreement as soon as Russian troops retreated from Kiev. |
dvkot:Withdrawal from everywhere was their biggest mistake. Yes it wasn't part of their plans to occupy those places they withdrew from but they should have held down the place. Trusting Ukraine or the west is foolish. Disbanding Wagner was the second. |
dvkot:Hypocrisy is their surname. The worst part is that they did it first, then Russia retaliated. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:The US still spies and wire taps the phones of all of its so called NATO allies till this day. A German FM said so a few years ago. They don't even trust each other. |

MhisterJay:Japan is a vassal with no sovereignty. A conquered and occupied territory with no say. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:They say BRICS association is imaginary and faked. But we saw how Argentina pulled out and nobody batted an eyelid. Easy peasy, no one threatened them. Look at Turkey, India, Serbia, Iran, China shipping billion dollars worth of weapon to Ukraine. Russia still maintain their relationship with them, no hatred or threats. Now let's go to the so called "beacon of freedom and democracy". NATO and EU. The US still spies and wire taps the phones of its so called NATO allies till this day. They don't even trust each other. The number one criterias for joining EU is hating Russia, sanctioning Russia, destroying every form of Relationship with Russia, erasing Russian language from your schools, taking away every rights of Russians living in your country and restricting their movements, blocking Russian news and media from your country, harassing or expelling Russian diplomats from your country. If you fulfill all these criterias, you are immediately accepted to EU and you automatically become the most loved member. Look at how they're threatening Serbia to join them or be crushed. Even after breaking up Serbia into parts. Look at how they threatened Hungary to join their Ukraine war train. They even threatened to assassinate Orban. They cut off and seized funds from Hungary and were contemplating on sanctioning Hungary. Look at Slovakia, how Fico was assassinated for not supporting sending weapons to Ukraine. Everyday Stoltenberg gives out strict conditions for all NATO members. You MUST do this, you MUST do that. No one dares to do otherwise. Being a NATO member is choking. Look at what they're doing to Moldova. The conditions they gave to Moldova before it can join EU. If this is what freedom is or looks like then I'd rather die a thousand deaths than be part of that freedom. |
