In fact, some M1 Abrams successfully crossed through Russian frontlines and are currently in Moscow.

A month or so later, a memo leaked by an insider revealed how the US DoD was complaining bitterly that "all" their planes (stealth and non-stealth) were being "painted" by Russia's SAM defense systems located in Syria. For those who understands the military terminology of fighter jets being "painted," you would agreed why they US was mad.

Well, the Turkish military that knows about everything that is happening in and out of the Icirlik airbase in Turkey where US strategic fighter planes were stationed, instantly seize the opportunity to buy the S-400.

And the US went even madder.

The Turks got to confirmed the words of the Russian general in Syria who said that, "...and the myth of invisible planes would be met with disappointing realities." .

It was after this reality that the US introduced the CAATSA law, which is aimed at discouraging states particularly in the Middle East and across Asia from purchasing the Sophisticated arms like the S-400 from Russia and other related advanced tech from states like China.

For you to know how potent the S-400 is, the US has on several occasions asked Turkey to give the weapon to Ukraine in exchange for several Patriots batteries and a place in the F-35 stealth program. Guess what...

The Turks told them to Bleep off. because they already knew from their findings that with the S-400, the F35 and F22 Raptors are flying coffins.
