⚡This year marks the 50th anniversary of Russia’s Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM). What was initially intended as an alternative to the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway turned out to be one of the world’s longest railroads and prompted a shift in Russia’s economic and logistical impact in the Asia-Pacific region. BAM’s strategic and geopolitical significance cannot be overstated as it shifted the country’s focus eastward, preemptively promoting the transition towards multipolarity. President Putin noted that its capacity has tripled over the past 12 years and continues to grow. “Over 300 infrastructure facilities have been made [fully] operational, including the Severomuysky, Kuznetsovsky, and Kodarsky tunnels, as well as the bridge across the Amur River,” he said. 1 Like

⚡Ukraine’s SBU has detained Metropolitan Arseny, the vicar of the Sviatogorsk Lavra, and is conducting searches at the Orthodox monastery. The Metropolitan was taken to Slavyansk for questioning, and then law enforcement will take him to Dnepropetrovsk to decide on his arrest, the Union of Orthodox Journalists quoted its source as saying. It was not specified what the Metropolitan was accused of.

⚡Türkiye's Gaza Security Plan Rejected by Arab Countries In the first two months of the war in Gaza, Türkiye offered Arab countries a security plan for the post-war period. Accordingly, Türkiye and Arab countries would form a joint military force and this joint force would be deployed in Gaza after the war. Türkiye offered to present this plan to the US and Israel, but Arab countries, including Egypt, rejected the plan. ⚡UK will send Paveway IV bombs to Ukraine, BBC reports. Paveway IV is a dual-mode GPS/laser-guided bomb with a weight of 500 lb (227 kg). It is a guidance kit based on the existing Enhanced Paveway II Enhanced Computer Control Group (ECCG) added to a modified Mk 82 general-purpose bomb. The Paveway IV has a maximum range of over 30 km, depending on the drop altitude, speed, and flight path.
