🇺🇿🇷🇺 Russia has delivered the first new EP3D electric train to Tashkent in Uzbekistan , reports the head of Uzbekistan Railways Zufar Narzullaev.

EP3D electric trains have been produced at the Demikhovsky Machine-Building Plant in the Moscow region since 2016.

Electric trains in Uzbekistan are outdated and cannot cope with the flow of passengers. The country is currently looking for at least 20 modern electric trains to organize new routes.
