⚡WSJ: 🇺🇦 Ukrainian pilots may begin using F-16s in combat as early as February 2024. The first pilots with a good command of English can be trained in five months. ⚡🇲🇱 Mali Air Force lost its only Su-25. Mali received two Su-25s from Russia in 2022 and 2023, both of which were lost within months of their delivery. The second Su-25 crashed north of Gao on September 9, 2023. The plane was allegedly damaged by ground fire. The first Su-25 crashed in October 2022.

"This is the first time this technology has reportedly been used in the northern region. Apparently, the material can withstand severe cold," says Major (Ret.) Marko Eklund. Eklund has worked in Finnish military intelligence and monitored the Russian Armed Forces for more than 20 years.
