⚡Zelenskyy: 'The rains make our task more difficult'. 🇺🇦 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has published his nightly address. He says that, despite rain and fierce fighting, Ukrainian forces have made progress. He said: "The battles are fierce, but we are moving forward, and this is very important. "The enemy's losses are exactly what we need. "Although the weather is unfavourable these days - the rains make our task more difficult - the strength of our warriors still yields results, and I thank everyone who is in combat now, everyone who supports our combat brigades in the relevant areas." He also thanked Ukrainian soldiers for the "significant replenishment of our exchange fund". |

⚡🇷🇺 Russian defence ministry 'seeks control' of infamous mercenaries. The Russian ministry of defence is attempting to restrict the independence of the ☠ Wagner Group, military analysts have said. The mercenary group's leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said he received a letter instructing the group to sign up to MoD command and inform them of the makeup of his forces. A member of the Russian state duma defence committee, Viktor Sobolev, said the MoD will not allow volunteers to fight without signing a contract with the ministry, which could effectively make it illegal for Wagner forces to operate in 🇺🇦 Ukraine, according to military blogger Mobilisation News. |
