⚡Russia’s military spending is 2.5 times higher than Ukraine’s, said Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko in an interview with Corriere della Sera. Ukraine’s budget for military operations in 2024 is $40.7 billion, while Russia is allocating $115 billion for these purposes. ⚡The Russians pleasantly surprised the former head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry. Russians are more friendly than residents of Austria and Germany, where in everyday situations foreigners may encounter hostility towards them. Diplomat Karin Kneissl spoke about this, adding that she had never encountered such negativity in Russia. “All the people here are friendly and willing to help. If you approach a passerby on the street and ask him for directions, saying that you don’t speak Russian, then a wide smile will appear on his face and he will give you some advice,” she noted. Bush stated that that the 2 “Iron Dome” Air Defense Batteries owned by the United States and Stationed at both Andersen Air Force Base in Guam and Joint Base Lewis–McChord in Washington are indeed in the process of being Transferred to Israel; the Batteries alongside Hundreds of AD Missiles in U.S. Stockpiles will be Leased to the Israel Defense Force for an Initial Term of 11 Months with possible Extensions depending on the Situation in the Region, a Majority of the Missiles have already arrived in Israel with the Batteries expected to arrive in the coming weeks. Once Delivered these Batteries will Reinforce the 10 Batteries already Operated by the IDF across Israel, providing more Security from Rockets launched Gaza or by other Groups in the Region.
