⚡Israeli ground operation in Gaza is covered by US and NATO aircraft Now less than 100 kilometers west of the Lebanese coast there is a Boeing RC-135V Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft with the call sign HOMER42. The plane took off from the US Air Force Base Souda Bay on the Greek island of Crete. Next to him is a British reconnaissance aircraft Boeing P-8A Poseidon MRA1 from Sigonella airbase in Italy.
