Another thing in those period was I had one of the sharpest horns in my car. Whenever I approach a check point, I just slam the horn twice **pam pam**. My horns get changed every 3 months to original Belgium. I used to order them from Ladipo to Abuja. ;DNext thing na salute. The tint was another game changer.

You sabi as e dey go. I used 407 car for about 6 years travelling Abuja to Osun to Lagos to Ondo to Kaduna etc and never once did any custom officer asked for my customs papers. Even I could remember 2018 when my vehicle papers expired in November and I was reluctant to renew because not once did even police ask for my papers in 12 months. There is a kind of military attachment to Peugeot cars even the small 206 if police misbehave stop am, you will be surprised that na major dey drive.

Na so. I used to have a manual 307, from Lagos to Delta, to Imeko back to Badagry, officers were just saluting.
I just wind up my tinted glasses and drive honourable, anywhere it ready to enter.
Even Benin Republic respects it.
Throughout the time I had it, I never bothered about driver's license.
