Dendrimers in the field of crude oil demulsification and viscosity has excellent application. Using divergent to synthesize polyamide-amine dendrimer with ethylenediamine core, especially assessed demulsification performance of PAMAM for the O/W type simulated oil emulsion, and also performance on heavy oil viscosity reduction. The results showed that whole generation PAMAM have good demulsification effect, where 3.0-generation PAMAM at 45 ℃, dosage of 100mg / L, breaking time 60min, the demulsification rate was 80%.
