Please i need ur help and have some questions.

1. Why do some installers setup a PV in both parallel and series?..and which is best..parallel only, or series only, or both.?
2. There are different watts of panels in the market..how do you which one suits your setup say u already have inverter and battery.
3. Some people feel the higher the watt of panel the quicker to charge, while some feel the higher the quantity of panels the quicker the charge..is this correct?
For example...Femi & John each have 3kva 24v inverter and 2 batteries..at the market femi buys 300w x4, john says he will get 600w x2 to reduce his rack space and that he will achieve equal or faster charge....which is true?
4. Some people feel the real essence of panels is to store energy on the battery bank i.e charge only off grid..if not true, what else does the panels do.
5. I have 3.5kv/3500 24v inverter, 2x 230ah battery.. considering the input only, how will a 2pcs of 680w panel fit in.
