NACE13:
Wow! That's a lot.
At boldened: Do you mean I still have to buy the digital game from Xbox store before I can proceed?

No sir, once you insert the disk go to the store and search the game. Instead of asking you to purchase the game it will tell you to install it.

NACE13:
Yes. I got (borrowed) it from my cousin who has a 360 slim console. I got games like Gears of war, Forza and Call of Duty but none worked. I tested my Xbox one games, and they worked fine, meaning my CD drive is good.

What do you think could be wrong?

note not all games are backward compatible and it has to be digital to play. Follow this steps

*Put disc in console

*Go to Xbox store and locate backwards comparable game

*Install (the purchase or buy button should change to install with the disc in)

*Keep disc in to play game after launching digitally once it’s downloaded to your Xbox one hard drive
