Billions of Catholics worship, venerate & adore Mary yet many of them do not know the history or the real identity of the personality called Mary.

In Paganism, ancient Egyptain and European religeons the worship of the goddess of fertility, motherhood and magic was highly celeberated she was conferred with several titles and names like ,The divine one,Virgin Mother,Mother of God,The Queen of Heaven,Queen of all Gods,The maker of Sunrise.
In Egyptian literature she was called ISIS or Athor, Virgo,Deipara in Tibet and China, as Hestia or Athena in Greece & Juno or Dove in Rome . she was known as the goddess with ten thousand names.
During the reign of Constantine when Rome(Seat of Catholic Church) was converting from paganism to Christainity Mary the mother of Jesus Christ was chosen as the Subsitute for the Mother goddess, pagans and Christains continued there prayers and devotion to the The Mother goddess which was rebranded as Mary to appeal to the Christains.this doctrine was enacted by the Catholic Church at the council of Ephesus in 431AD.
Among the early Christains and Apostles the worship of any diety or Mother goddess was totally forbidden  no where in the Bible are Christains taught to pray worship or venerate any other person than God or Jesus
  The Queen of Heaven mentioned in the Bible was not Mary but a goddess who  was worshipped and venerated by the Israelities.
Rather than be a blessing  the worship of the Queen of Heaven provoked God to anger. Jeremiah  7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
It was becos of this Sin that God castout all the Children of Judah and destoryed Jerusalem, jeremiah44:1-end especially verse17.
If God regarded it as sin then he still regards it as sin today becos  he says in Malachi  3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;
God is a jealous God, he cannot share his glory with anyone that includes the Pope,Mary,Saints,or Queen of Heaven Isaiah42:8 “I am the Lord; that is my name;
my glory I give to no other…”

The bible is explictly clear on the issue of worship and prayer to God  only in the name of  Jesus Christ are we expected to pray.
Even Angels refused to recieve worship in the bible, it was Satan's desire to share or recieve God's worship that lead to the Beginning of war in Heaven Isaiah14:13 & Ezekiel28:18.

In matthew2:11
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped HIM: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

From the above bible verse we can see that The Wise men from the East worshipped only Jesus and not Mary.


Some false assumptions made by the Catholic Church about Mary.

Immaculate mother:Mary was a descendant of David she was born through the act of sexual intercourse and not by divine immaculate conception as Catholics present her to be therefore she has sin.
psalm 143:2 And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no man living is righteous.
Job 25:4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

Virgn mother: While Mary was a virgin before she was chosen by God as the mother of  Jesus Christ she don't remain a virgn forever, after the birth of Jesus  Mary had many other children with Joseph of course through sexual intercourse this means Mary did not die a virgin as Catholic protary her to be.
Matthew 12:46-47 , "While He was still speaking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. And someone said to Him, "Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak to You."

Matthew 13:55, "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? "
Mark 6:2-3 , "And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue; and the many listeners were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things, and what is this wisdom given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands? "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon?Are not His sisters here with us?"

Holy Mother: Mary is viewed as an  intercessor,  When Jesus Christ taught  his disciples  how to  pray he told them clearly that prayers where to be made to his Father only through his name "Jesus Christ" and not through Mary or Saints. Jesus alone is our high priest.Heb7:21'John14:13' 1Timothy2:15



In Conclusion
While Catholics believe that they are honouring Mary the truth is that they are Worshipping the pagan mother goddess which has be rebranded as Mary and this is pure idolatry.

Picture a gathering of seriously devout Christians. Can u imagine them spending their time imbibing liquor or smoking pot? There is a compass inside that tells them to avoid certain things. exactly regarding Avalon because of the classy and interior that attracted me to the car but was scare as I discovered few people use the car. thanks anyway

I personally hate SUVs but since Nigerian roads are useless. Just consider the Rav 4. Its very reliable too.

Avalon is more classy tho. With more gadgets, interior finishing, leg and headroom. Its almost as luxurious as its Lexus brothers. Rav 4 is smaller but being an SUV, it has better ground clearance and thats a plus cos of our roads.
