WE ALL WOKE UP TO A RUDE SHOCK



Gbeminiyi promised during enlightenment and recruitment that travelling in April 2018 was as sure as DEATH



While we were supposed to be talking about the date of take off to the USA



MERITCHOICE RATHER SENT US AN EMAIL SAYING THEY HAD PARTED WAYS WITH GCA


And no longer had any information about the program



From the feelers we receive, we learnt he had gotten commission from his efforts to the tune of about 40 million naira from close to 200 million raised



Some said himself and herbalist Olalekan had differences over monies collected



On the failed Ghana trip, Gbeminiyi even collected monies voluntarily from students that were meant for buying of goodwills gifts for senior citizens in Ghana to show us as true ambassadors of love and care



Since we never entered Accra, no one knows what became of that money he collected as it was not refunded.




How can you lead people who trusted you on to join a project you championed then turn around and leave them half way claiming you dont know anything about the program again



Thats the height of insensitivity, wickedness and selfishness



Since he pulled out, he has gone on to be aggressively marketing his bee keeping and cyrpto currency seminars




My people...yes we fell mugu


But dont we deserve to get justice??

Gbeminiyi Oluwabusola of MeritChoice is the man who help herbalist Dr. David Olalekan to swindle us all of way over 100 million naira of hard earned monies.



Many went through a lot to raise this money.


Now he has rented a big office and is enjoying our loot but he wont go scot free


as the Alagbon Police picked him too.


My only pain now is the chief fraudster may have just jumped bail going by his lack of appearance at Alagbon yesterday and today

After returning from the failed and dangerous Ghana trip


MeritChoice and GCA took students to Redeemed Camp at Mowe to sit for the Certification Exams


While we were there, blood samples were collected from all Students for so called medical test, only God knows where our blood was taken to



Sputum was also collected in sample bottles as were as heart rate test was also carried out on students



We were told all these will be submitted at the US embassy



After the certification exams which the criminal David Olalekan did not even pay American Caregivers Association (ACA) for as we have come to know now



It was claimed that he was taking the scripts to US for marking and grading of the examination




This funny picture in an aircraft was released showing Dr. on his way to US



Many were praying and showering praises on him



A few days after it was said that ACA has extended his franchise to cover the whole of AFRICA as he has brought on the highest number of caregivers in their history since 1985 when they started.



Gbeminiyi even made a post to that effect.

The Police at Alagbon were able to arrest herbalist David Olalekan last week on the tip off of some students who had alerted them of the scam



We all knew he was trying to round up his fraud and many were becoming dischanted as the travel date of April failed



They were told told how much monies he collected and the severity of his offence



The kind of danger he put peoples lives through



Yet instead of getting a court order to keep him until investigation is concluded....they released him on bail saying he cant be kept more than 48 hours



Now he hasnt reported at Alagbon and no where to be found




Yes...we were scammed but we cry for justice



This scam is front page worthy



Let the higher authorities hear this....how can the Police arrest a confirm fraudster and let him go

Gbeminiyi collected 10,000 naira each for complete feeding of students on Ghana trip and almost starve people to death.


He claimed he was getting an international caterer who usually forwards people on tour of West Africa.


He was rather giving people bread and bottled water like prisoners.


Those who had extra money on themselves got things to eat but those who didnt were at the mercy of others.



We took off for Ghana from Lagos by 5:30pm on the fateful day and slept inside buses at the Nigerian border at Owode



Even at the Togolese border to Ghana


The Ghanaians let us into their border to sleep on the floor at their border post at Aflawo when rumors became rife that the Togolese people were planning to rob us that night.



There were even babies as young as 5 to 7 months on the trip.



The Ghana immigration said our Orile Mile 2 buses had no international travel papers so they cant let them go to Accra. all pleading fell on deaf ears. They were not ready to compromise at all.


The following day they had to bring us back to Nigeria so as to be able to write ACA exams which we have now discovered babalawo doctor never remitted money to ACA for.




It was a hellish and life threatening experience....the drivers were very reckless and Gbeminiyi could not even control them



Over 700 Nigerians travelled in more than 20 buses at the risk of their lives due to the criminality of some people

Infact before the Ghana trip, we were been told that Ghanaians didnt want us as Nigerians as we were always fond of misdemeanor


The herbalist president of GCA claimed he had to beg for the authorities to agree for us to visit


Now i am wondering how he has helped improve Nigeria image with his fraudulent and criminal act



As i type the amount of emails hitting ACA in America about this bursted scam has made them to withdraw GCA franchise with them as they can see it has been abused.

While students were struggling to pay 55,000 naira for Ghana trip, Gbeminiyi of MeritChoice came up with an idea that for the trip to be smooth and easy for everyone.


They have decided to engage the services of a professional caterers who goes on International tours with people across WEST AFRICA to cook for us on wheels



This was because no restaurant may be able to cater to over 700 people without prior notice and also to prevent people from eating foods that may cause food poisoning since we were going to a foreign land.



Everyone was expected to pay an extra 10,000 to have full feeding covered from the day of departure to Ghana and back.



That took the total amount for Ghana trip to 65,000 naira per person



MY OH MY....DID HE DELIVER



I dont want to exaggerate things but on the day of departure, while we were all expecting to see a professional kitchen on wheels



They loaded bread and water inside one Orile to Mile 2 coaster bus



No one was served any reasonable food but people decided not to protest because we were all thinking of America



White rice was served with a tiny piece of meat when we were promised everyone will eat to satisfaction and also have in between snacks like peanuts and pop corn



Semo was served on day 2 and before you know it



They complained they was no more meat...Infact i have never seen adults treated like prisoners



Many who had cash on them opted to buying foods while those who had paid 10k and were expecting food starved on the whole trip.



It was sooooo terribe but the lure of America made people take all the shabby treatment without revolt in the face of obvious cheating and in human treatment.

Another dangerous dimension that put peoples lives at great risk was the trip to Ghana at a UN CARE FACILITY we have come to know doesnt exist any where in Accra


This trip was to enable students gain practical caregiver experience and also disvirgin the passports of those who have never travelled internationally.




Many went through great pain to pay huge amounts of monies to obtain International passport at short notice



All the logistics for Ghana trip were handled by MeritChoice and they did a very shoddy job of it



While we were promised to travel in Air Conditioned buses after each person paid 55,000 each



We did travel in Orile to Mile 2 coaster buses without AC


It was such a horror

Why will a man lead his followers that trusted him into a program he knew every well was scam for the sake of money.

Gbeminiyi is now singing like a parrot....he was picked up by Alagbon Police last week and has been released on bail with instruction to report daily.



He confessed in his statement that just his MeritChoice accounts collected payments of almost 100 million naira not to talk of the monies that were paid straight into GCA ACCOUNTS with Zenith and FCMB.



He introduced David Olalekan to the students as DR. DAVID OLALEKAN and President of GCA



Now that the bubble has burst, it has been uncovered that the David is not a DR but if he is anything close to that



He is a herbalist and he revealed he belongs to the association of traditional medicine practitioners of Nigeria

SEMINARS WERE BEEN HELD ACROSS DIFFERENT NIGERIAN CITIES TO RECRUIT PEOPLE

many tried to question why everything was happening so fast



but MeritChoice and GCA said this was a crash program and the US recruiters needed the 2800 caregivers urgently to fill vacant positions by April 2018.



In these hard times and in a bid to seize this opportunity, many went to sell their valuables while others took loans at exorbitant interest rates with the hope that once they land US, they will offset them all

On hearing on an organization such as the American Caregivers Association ACA



Most of us wrote to ACA to confirm if they had given a franchise to GCA to train and certify caregivers in Nigeria in their name



The replies were in the affirmative, ACA confirmed that GCA were working together with them, the interest of people spiked in the program



MeritChoice started moving from city to city mobilizing people to take up this opportunity



They were charging 5000 naira for application forms and 80,000 naira for the NCCC Certification. meanwhile this same certification is offered for $79 on the ACA website


They were also charging 70,000 naira for the NALMCC Certification but those who were interested in taking both certification could pay 130,000 naira



MeritChoice let students know that those who take the managers course stand a better chance to earn more once they get to the US





The issue of this program might be a scam was ever present on the lips of many who came for their enlightenment seminars across the Country. Gbeminiyi and Olalekan went to great extent to convince students that this was not a scam



Thousands of mails were been sent to ACA to confirm their partnership with GCA, their affirmative replies always soften peoples stance




For the sake of first time international travellers, MeritChoice and GCA came up with a plan to take all trained persons to a so called visit to a UN Caregiver Facilty in Ghana for first hand practical on what it means to work in an assisted living home and also to disvirgin the International Passports of those who have never travelled Internationally before



Everything seems interesting and nice, i will be narrating and sharing pictures of the horror that trip to Ghana turned out to be ahead

On the 8th of January, 2018, the full gist came in proper from MeritChoice led by Gbeminiyi Oluwabusola


He spoke so eloquently of what it means to be a caregiver especially in a country like USA



He talked about how GCA has secured a franchise with AMERICAN CAREGIVERS ASSOCIATION to train and certify Nigerians on caregiving


He also talked about how GCA has secured a contract with reputable recruiters in the USA who wanted 2800 caregivers for immediate employment by April 2018



He said the US recruiters wer going to provide VISA processing fees, flight fares and accommodation which the costs will be deducted over time as the caregivers work in the US



All what interested persons needed to do was to get trained by GCA and certified by American Caregivers Association and the rest will be handled by GCA


It will be a group appearance at the US embassy for Visa



Visa to be granted will be H1B which carry a work permit and many privileges



He went to great extent to convince many people who had trusted him through the years that this opportunity is for real



As a matter of fact, Gbeminiyi said this opportunity was as real as death




Many started paying and money was rolling in



Monies were been paid into MeritChoice Bank Accounts with GTB and also GCA Bank Accounts with Zenith and FCMB



THE caregiver courses on offer were the NCCC National Caregiver Certification Course

and the NAMCC NATIONAL ASSISTED LIVING MANAGER CERTIFICATION COURSE

I have been into internet marketing and money making opportunities for over 5 years, one company i have come to know in the Internet marketing space in Nigeria is called MeritChoice Limited owned by Gbeminiyi Oluwabusola with office at Atinuke Plaza, Okota Road by Cele Bus Stop, Lagos State.

It sounded interesting, they sent me a website link at www.ghalpcaregiversacademy.us to visit and download the comprehensive guide which will give me all the details i need to know if i want to get trained, certified and be in USA by April 2018 to start working as a caregiver.



MeritChoice also encouraged me to go online and search about caregiver job opportunities around the world and USA in particular as we were in a digital world


I searched online and discovered caregiving was quite a lucrative career path especially when you begin to take into cognizance exchange rate as a Nigeria.



MeritChoice put their publicity and recruitment efforts on overdrive in a bid to recruit the so called required number of 2800 caregivers wanted by April 2018.



Before you will know it seminars were holding everywhere and payments started coming in..
