Autos › Discussion: Semi-trailer Options For Haulage Business In Nigeria by Yanghefang(op): 6:43am On Feb 27
Hello everyone,

I’m currently involved in the logistics and haulage business here in Nigeria.
I’d like to ask experienced friends for your opinions and real experience with 3-axle sideboard semi-trailers.

What models or brands have you been using?
How is the durability on Nigerian roads?
Is it reliable for carrying stones, sand, building materials and general cargo?
How about maintenance and spare parts availability?
Any advice on registration and daily operation?

Feel free to share your practical experience.
Let’s discuss and help each other in the haulage business.

Car Talk › Why Africans Love Chinese Used Trucks by Yanghefang(op): 5:43am On Feb 27
Why Africans love refurbished Chinese trucks
In my opinion, Chinese refurbished trucks and heavy machinery are really popular across Africa for good reasons.
They are strong, durable, and perfect for bad roads, mining sites, and construction work. The engines are simple, easy to fix, and not too picky about fuel quality. Spare parts are cheap and easy to find almost everywhere.
Most importantly, the price is much lower than new trucks, but the performance is still reliable for daily business. For small business owners, transporters, and construction teams, this is a very practical choice.
What do you guys think? Have you used Chinese trucks before?

Autos › The Current Situation And Challenges Of The Lowbed Transport Industry In Nigeria by Yanghefang(op): 4:23am On Feb 27
In Nigeria, lowbed transport, as a core link in the logistics of construction machinery and oversized cargo, is facing multiple opportunities and challenges. On the one hand, with the continuous advancement of infrastructure construction projects, the demand for lowbed transport has been growing steadily. On the other hand, the industry is also plagued by issues such as inconsistent vehicle standards, poor road conditions, and rising operational costs.

In terms of the vehicles themselves, the low-center-of-gravity design of lowbeds indeed provides stability for transporting heavy machinery. However, many aging vehicles lack regular maintenance, posing potential safety risks. Meanwhile, the market demand for compliant vehicles is increasing day by day, which also prompts practitioners to think about how to upgrade their equipment and improve service quality.

In addition, policy-level supervision is constantly being strengthened, with tougher crackdowns on overloading and over-limit transportation. This not only standardizes the market order but also puts forward new requirements for the operation modes of transportation enterprises.

What do you think the future development direction of Nigeria's lowbed transport industry is? How can we improve the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the industry while ensuring safety and compliance?

Car Talk › Discussion: How To Choose Suitable Semi-trailers For African Logistics by Yanghefang(op): 1:28pm On Feb 25
Hello everyone! I'm from a semi-trailer manufacturing factory in Shandong, China. I've been working with African clients for many years and noticed that road conditions and cargo types in different African regions vary a lot.

I'd like to share some experience: For rough roads, low-bed trailers with strong suspension are more suitable; for bulk cargo, dump trailers can improve unloading efficiency. What are your thoughts on choosing semi-trailers for African logistics? I'm happy to exchange ideas with you!
