Me sef I’m in a dilemma. I got paramilitary offer last week and I’m in training school for a bank job now too(full staff). I’m finding it hard to choose cos it’s a thing of low pay and free time vs high pay and less free time. I don think the matter tire on which to forfeit

You're lucky, people are out there looking for at least one of what you have rn. In my opinion, bank jobs don't have security although the pay might be enticing. But government job na until you retire with confirm pension especially if you start with a degree and you can also run a side hustle with enough time on your hands.

Maybe you just graduated from uni.
If you have a family member that was/is a civil servant, ask them questions before you start shouting. After salaries and wages commission are done with their own, ministries and MDAs will consolidate their own with their charts. Agencies under the same ministries don't collect the same salary so imagine how long it will take to consolidate everything. This is a significant increase, likewise adjustments will be significant.
Budget also has a role to play.
Why do you think labour unions aren't complaining? Because they know how it works.

If you mean for level 8 starting salary, I doubt it's up to that because the pay shouldn't be better than FAAN and before the minimum wage increment, starting level 8 in FAAN wasn't collecting up to that amount.

They don't hire much staff at all. As at 2 yrs ago, total staff was 200+ and the entry salary for level 8 was over 200. Now that things are getting better significantly for civil servants, I believe the pay is higher, aviation no dey play with salary and this agency is the best. Forget their salary self, if you get work there, you'll hardly be in Nigeria, those people send their staff for foreign courses like no man's business.
