Construction Project Engineers. Our growing construction firm is looking for a dedicated Construction Project Engineer. This position reviews design and bidding documents, evaluates contractor bids, and oversees construction progress and scheduling. Additionally, the Construction Project Engineer provides technical support to construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager. • Assist in the development of cost estimates • Review plans and other technical documents • Answer questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project • Monitor costs and project progress • Maintain control of all project documentation • Create, manage and track RFI’s from the field to the architect/engineer of record • Maintain/update project records • Assist project team with conflict resolution between owner, contractor and subcontractor • Understand appropriate building codes/ regulations. • Coordinate project change-order management, creation and negotiation. • Conduct and document weekly project owner’s meetings/decisions • Assist the project team with site safety documentation and coordination General Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field of study. • Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and other applicable software programs • Demonstrate flexibility and is adaptable to change. • General knowledge of office protocol, routines and procedures. • Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines Qualified candidates should please forward their CV’s to olayemi.oguntoye-hr@kingfisherafrica.com |

A reputable marine organization is currently looking for well experienced Marine Engineers as result of expansion in the business. Duties and Responsibilities • Conducting assessments and research to determine system requirements. • Assessing and repairing damage caused by wind and waves. • Designing and operating systems to prevent corrosion and damage from sea creatures. • Inspecting and maintaining engines, pumps and other essential equipment, • Installing and maintaining electrical, heating and plumbing systems. • Drawing up schematics, diagrams and layouts for new systems • Testing newly designed systems and making modifications as needed • Developing project proposals that establish expected costs, timelines and potential risks • Overseeing construction projects to ensure the finished work meets all design requirements • Performing initial quality control and ongoing maintenance inspections on vessels • Drafting reports for management and sales teams • Adhering to maritime safety rules and regulations when developing new systems. Educational Requirement/Skill & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related field • 2+ years of experience in marine engineering or related roles • Familiarity with maritime regulations. • Deep knowledge of marine systems, mechanical engineering, and maritime regulations • Excellent proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and marine design tools • Ability to work in challenging environments, including at sea or on rigs Qualified candidates should please forward their CVSs to olayemi.oguntoye-hr@kingfisherafrica.com |
