@ MissyKwnly, finding a suitable non shedding yarn might be difficult. I can't think of any local brand. Your best bet might be searching for cheaper foreign yarn on sale somewhere.
Another bizarre thing to try is using many strands of yeye yarn together and washing them before you begin, of course with a conditioner.

Hi Dear, most yarns will shed at some point in time. You may try washing your stuff immediately you finish making it, with fabric conditioner or according to label instructions.
As for ply, it simply means the number of threads that were twisted together to arrive at a particular yarn. For example, 3 ply means 3 threads were twisted together. Yeye yarn doesn't come in 5 ply unfortunately!
