Microbiology has always been. JAMB didn't change anything. like the other guy said, most Universities cannot power such elaborate course with high technicality (though I am not sure if all Universities are involved). some polytechnics run "Sceince laboratory technology" e.g Yabatech. after ND2, they change the course to Microbiology. So, we can say Microbiology eggs Science lab. for polys.

States under the catchment areas like Delta and Edo also receive special treatments...their cut off points are always 2-3 points below the merit cut off marks...Aspirants from these states are likely to get medicine n Law with aggregates of 68-69 if the assumed merit cut off mark is 70.
