Na Ogun State Governors, that state is blessed with large hectares of land for investment and they are very lucky to be close to Lagos. but their daft governors only care about their pockets.

When a right-thinking person sees an opportunity he/she will grab it with 2 hands. But not them. Ogun state should be competing with Lagos in terms of infrastructure and development.

Lagos state has claimed many of their lands because of their low level of thinking. Ogun state government abandoned the road that was supposed to be repaired by them, it was the Lagos state governor (Gov. Babajide Sanwolu) who had to go and meet with the Ogun state governor (Dapo Abiodun) that they should join hands in repairing the road so that the road can be accessible for commuters.

They make the state unlivable for people who can't afford to live in Lagos, they also make it a bad place for investment and doing business. It's just a pity.

Ode before you go quote me, make sure you have travelled around Ogun state, and not just Abeokuta or Ijebu Ode.

And I ways envy Ogun. It's when u hear some things you will get more info.

Nobody should take such a position
from Benue State..

Since it's creation in 1976, Benue
state has remained in a state of arrested
development which worsened under 25
years of Tiv governors.

The Tiv by nature are not progressive
people.

Zamfara should take the second position.
Since the state has a large illiterate population,
the first civilian governor in 1999 fooled
them with Sharia, which the illiterate
Muslim masses love.

Today, Zamfara state has become a
basket case of total poverty and security
collapse, where bandits are posing as opposition party & are sharing governance with the elected government⏺️⏺️🔸⚫️

The topic says "history", not just present. Enugu State does not have a bad history of governors. However, South East governors should be aware that the government of the defunct Eastern Region made the region the most industrialized part of Nigeria. Why can't governors of modern South East industrialize the region?
Greed. They are selling the development of the land to please the northerners

I disagree with you completely. Ogun is the overall number one in the entire nation. Worst governors from 1999 to date. Is it schools? Is it roads? What? It was in Ogun State that I first saw water-soluble roads (ably built by OGD and Amosun). Forget jare.

Yeah you are right, i think is Benue follow by Abia
But Alex Otti is different from the rest making Abia to drop down.
Since the inception of this democry from 1999 till date Benue State stand as number 1 that produces the worst Governors. Benue has never seen any project started and commision, Otorm is the worst among them. Then Abia theodor Orji and Ikpeazu combine as the worst.
The best performing governor since 1999
1. Donald Duke- Cross River
2.Sulivan Chime- Enugu
3. Rotimi Ameachi- Rivers
4. Godswill Akpabio- Akwa ibom
5. Fashola - Lagos
6. James Ibori- Delta
9.Zulum - Borno
10. Alex Otti - Abia
Alex may be upgraded if he continue this what he is doing
I totally agree. Alex otti has broken the jinx. I didn't know Ibori was a good governor... that time i never understand things like that to know if he did well

One thing I know

Nigerians discriminate against themselves both Home and Abroad.

Jealousy, Envy, Prejudice, Nepotism. None of these haven't I can experienced from Nigerians.
Na this kind thing I dey talk about.
I don't like the behaviour of black people even outside Nigeria.. I'm not a fan of how on a general scale back people present themselves and their communities.

BUT I WILL NEVER BACK ANOTHER RACE OVER BLACKS. These racist that call your kind monkeys and banana are the ones I'll see sense in? From the moment you drop at their country they treat you like a convicted criminal without respect of any kind. They can lock you up for no reason and laugh at your race and call your people all names and you want me to reason their mata? I ll never do that. I will never render my voice to any racist race that hate black people for no reaon. If they start respecting black people in their pathetic countries , I'll start respecting them in my country. Simple!

What you actually have is a jungle!

A proactive government would properly investigate and gather evidence and seek a court order to shut them down. But since Nigeria does not follow its laws, we just swoop in!

What if this company contests the allegations and is found to not be guilty in court? Would Nigeria not have to compensate them for loss of earnings?

This, alone, is enough to make one suspect they don't ban Nigerians.

what is wrong with some of you? black people have inferiority problem. Enter china, from the airport the way they will treat you, you will not have mouth to talk about "guilty or not guilty" . They can go f themselves. They don't respect your kind, but you are here worshipping their unripe azzes

1) I am of the belief that a good marriage is indeed an achievement to those who desire it. But when you bully people so much with something, they might fight back and you hear statements like the highlighted.

2) Until marriage happens, Nigerians should allow singles breef. I have thought about it deeply and I am yet to see any reason to shame someone for being SINGLE.

3) I have never looked at a man on this forum and thought to myself "eish, he is not married". I don't care and I won't marry him if he were single. It is always the reverse because women do not care enough about such to give men derogatory names. They might have their biases when approached by these men, but they are not malicious about it like the guys on this forum who have more venom than inland taipans. So you won't find a handful of women to adopt this name for men.

4) These venomous men do not care about (the biological clocks of) women. They only want to ensure they cause them pains and embarrassment.

Are u married?
Nairaland / General / Re: Who is an evening newspaper? by YourGFsnatcher: 2:12pm On Apr 22
Sapasenator:
Ok guys, listen let's trash this important topic and very popular phrase used very frequently on Nairaland by the guys.

In recent times I have always come across the term "evening newspaper", being used to refer to some certain individuals oftentimes the female folks on this honourable site.

The term is often used in a derogatory term to refer to ladies of a certain age group who are yet to marry.

I must confess that I find this term to be amusing and often wonder at the origin considering the fact that I am an avid reader of newspapers expecially the evening variety.

Now due to the present economic impasse in the country, we find that lots of the menfolk who are still single and yet to marry, in particular older males in their late thirties, early to mid- forties.

Can we refer to these categories of males as "evening newspapers" too.

I personally think if a man is not married at 35, he should be classified as an evening newspaper or what do you guys think.

For me, I would prefer the term not to be used at all as it is derogatory but if you insist on using them, I would say men could be evening newspapers too.

Why do u want to bring emotion to reality? Do u have reasons 35 year old man should be called evening news paper or u just feel like saying it? Do u know why women are referred to that?
Will you compare the sellable nature of 35 year old man and 35 year old woma? Did u do your assignment?
