Try calm down
if u have the RRR no that was displayed b4 u played, make use of it to query Remita on the school portal(that's if the option is there)
if u didn't write down the RRR no( u can get it on your student gmail account (if you've been given)

Sebi u people don't always relax, u are always in a hurry. You're not supposed to pay for accommodation until you've applied, and given authority to pay for accommodation. Well....

For Dungeon, conditions there is poor, torn nets, poor toilet and bathroom, plus plenty incidence of theft

For mellanbites here, I doubt know how the allocation of bed spaces will look this year but if you're given the opportunity to pick a room, it's preferable you pick from (A61 - A72), preferably A63(in optimum condition) which are all on the ground floor considering fetching of water. Avoid Dungeon A80+ by all means

Ground floor low point is mosquitoes cos people upstairs will be pouring water downstairs.
My personal opinion, I prefer topmost floor A2-29 cos I stayed on that floor though.

The levy alone is for senior students 300/400 that're through with GES
Levy + GES is for new students and those still writing GES.

If i understand your post, you're trying to say that it powers on with the charger plug in but doesn't power on ba3 alone?

Remove the battery, plug the charger alone and power it on and see if it will on.

After that, remove the charger, insert only the ba3 and power it on to see if it will power on.


2. Insert the ba3, connect the charger and power it on, when it gets into desktop move the cursor to the ba3 indicator and see what is written there.


I want to know if it is plug in charging, plug in not charging or ba3 not detected.

I was able to turn it on using ba3 alone

Pls help HP elite book 8440 when charged doesn't turn on by itself the next day. If plugged, it'll come up& the battery will be able to power it again. Next day, battery again will not turn it on again

A lot of people relax after gaining admission and thus don't do well in their first year. They spend the rest of their stay in school trying to make up, some do, others end up frustrated. Starting early is the key. Remember if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.
I've been on campus for more than 3 year so from experience I can say this; Work now, play later.

Another thing I'll like to point out is that a lot of new students come into school with all the glory of the past. Fact is whatever you were(good student or poor one) prior to UI is history, a new phase is about to begin. I've seen poor students prior to UI thrive like never before & also great students capitulate. The choice is always yours to make.

One thing that has helped a lot of people like myself is learning from people ahead of you. When you stand on the shoulders of giants you'll see the world better. I'll tell a story of myself. I did a particular course in 100 level, a mathematical course. I was good in maths, so I thought there's no need to put in much effort, I didn't seek advice from those ahead of me. I ended with an average score in that course. While in my second year, I met two new students (male and female), gave them advice & got past questions for them. Guess what, both of them ended up having an A in the course.
Humble yourself and learn from those that're ahead of you, not those that'll discourage you but those that'll inspire you to achieve more.

I think this is not very clear. There's no list on the website as announced. Maybe you may need to login your details @ admissions.ui.edu.ng to confirm your status. I guess this mixup might be due to the ongoing NASU strike. Hope this helps.
