If the man actually intended to scare me or drive me away, it wouldn't be surprising because that's not the first time such a thing would happen.

I already shared my experience here of people I suppose were Fulani or hausa muslims, throwing stones at me from inside a compound while I was standing by the gate preaching the Gospel during the daytime, but I didn't move an inch, even though I stopped briefly to understand what was going on.

But as i continued shortly afterwards, suddenly I saw some of them coming out of the gate but going back in immediately exclaiming out of shock that I was still there because they thought they had driven me away.

That was when I realized they were actually the ones throwing the stones over the gate of the compound.

However I continued preaching the Gospel regardless until I was through, and was even surprised that they didn't continue throwing stones any more.

Perhaps they had realized that I wouldn't be scared away that easily, so there was no point.

So it was probably a similar thing that happened in this instance, as the man appeared surprised that I didn't even shake one single bit, so had to pretend and change direction.

What struck me most however was the consistency, because this happened about 25 years apart, yet no difference.

Note, this wasn't online or in a dream but in real life, but I reacted in a way that even surprised me after I relived what happened.

I sense that is the kind of boldness that the Holy Spirit gives, that made the same disciples who denied Jesus and fled, later seen boldly preaching the Gospel of Jesus even in the face of death.

I want more of that boldness, so I would be able to continue to preaching the Gospel of Jesus without any fear or shame!

I personally think Obi should have remained in the ADC. Atiku should have made him an offer, which he failed to do. Not a very smart politician.
A VP guarantee, a one-term guarantee, power to coordinate the economy and report to Atiku directly and a coordinating minister would have sealed the deal for both of them.

Because until recently when Atiku came back with the lamba of returning subsidy, he was practically inexistent in national discourse. Even the promise to return subsidy is only resonating with northern populace; core north at that.
