LG are always dirt cheap anywhere you find them. No cap. And they are always very good in terms of specs. They just didn't get it right with software. You will enjoy that phone die.

Really good stuff here, bro. LG is very very underrated, and it's a pity they no longer make phones. You'll enjoy the G8, no doubt. You can do custom ROMs for A12 if you want.

They are not close in spec

The only thing am seeing where pixel outshine is andriod up date, up to 14 iguess while g8 will end in 12

About the camera u can still install gcam

Apart from those g8 beats pixel 3xl in every department...

Other comments have already given you the answer you need. The only advantage(s) the Pixel 3XL has over the LG G8 is a better camera and Android 12 update. The good part is that you can still download GCAM app in the LG to get comparable camera quality.

You want battery, LG.

You want software updates, (although its no longer getting any major ones) the pixel.

the only thing the pixel 3xl has over the g8 is the android version and maybe the camera but that doesn't mean the camera on the g8 isn't good.

the LG has a more powerful and more optimized chipset in SD 855 compared to the SD 845 on Pixel 3XL
also 6GB RAM is better than the 4GB RAM on the pixel 3xl
In my opinion, it's a no-brainer 6GB ram is the standard for android 10 upward and the LG g8 is the better of the two.

i will always take 6GB RAM 128GB ROM with SD 855 over 4GB RAM 64GB ROM and SD845.

If Android update won't be a problem to you, the LG is very good - Better speaker, better battery and a very decent camera which GCAM will make it more better.

They're almost the same just that LG is higher in ram and battery. But 3xl has better control with software single google owns android and they have good camera.
