Twitter is a social app. Nairaland is a membership(forum). There is difference between the two!

Most of the time people tend to be afraid of change,, hence perhaps the reason nairaland still uses the same interface and layout

Don't be afraid of the unknown,, you should upgrade the user interface,let it be responsive and navigate able, you already have the community all you need do is make it look more lively and graphics friendly
