FSBoperator: If he should preach, he shouldn't have selective amnesia when recalling how corrupt govt officials wanted to use his company to steal and launder public funds.
This was what he was central to in the Stella Odua case.
Why ignore that episode that was a major scandal involving his company ? I don’t care about Stella’s case, that is not the topic. When the topic came out I must have commented on it too. I don’t care where any criminal hails from, a criminal is a criminal So in your own words, the plateau governor has no case to answer. Why bother about being caught stealing when there are people like you? |
Politics › Re: Cosmos Maduka A Saint When It Is Plateau, But A Defender When It Is Stella Oduah by Zionmdde: 10:54am On Sep 28 |
FSBoperator: My point is that Maduka is not in any position to preach when he was caught doing same thing without care for Stella Odua.
So why is it ok to round trip for Stella but not for Plateau state govt officials ? My point is that the fact a thief (let’s assume Maduka is one) calls out another thief doesn’t mean that the thief he called out is guiltless So because Stella odua did it and he didn’t call him justifies that the governor shouldn’t be held accountable Na wa oooooo |
Politics › Re: Cosmos Maduka A Saint When It Is Plateau, But A Defender When It Is Stella Oduah by Zionmdde: 9:53am On Sep 28 |
FSBoperator: The OP has made a very strong case of duality and double standards on the part of Coscharis motors involving Stella Odua's inflated invoice and that of the Plateau governor's case.
Why is Cosmas telling us that he refused to inflate on request the original selling price of a vehicle about to be purchased by the Plateau state govt but went ahead to inflate the cost on request from staff at the NCAA obviously working as proxies to Odua to increase the cost of vehicles he was about to supply to the agency ?
You guys only see corruption in others but when it involves your people you will start whataboutism and your usual persecution and victimhood complex. Stella odua is not my people. If she is found guilty of corruption, she should be prosecuted So in your own words, the plateau state governor is guiltless because Stella odua is guilty See mentality na. This is is the kind of mentality that makes it very enjoyable to steal as a politician. Some things will always rush to defend you |

vanitybutiwanti: oga you know nothing, don't be deceived by his demeanor. You have met him and so? What do you know about his finance? Do you even know what it means to be a governor or even an LGA Chairman? Mind you, you're superintending over an organization (state or LGA) and your goal is not for profit, you get to decide how funds(free funds without the pressure of meeting target or profit) from FAAC, IGR, and other sources are disbursed. Do you know the deals he has had with contractors? Because you met him, it means he is a Saint. You don't know what you are talking about and you are inexperienced.
You met him and you discussed with him about how to move Abia foward and you expect him to even talk money or kickbacks with you who is a complete stranger on the first meeting? Is he kid? Dont you know they have trusted and long time associates they use for the kickback business? Are you a learner?
Go and ask people that know, public office is the fastest way to be generationally wealthy and there is no exception, your beloved otti knows and he is doing the same thing others are doing, he is only given a pass because he is not in the APC and because some Nigerias are just too hypocriitical to the extent that they defend their own and cast aspersions on others.
It was on this same forum we read that otti gave his boys in the assembly 1 or 2 billion naira to share and it resulted in a fight perhaps due to uneven sharing formula to the extent that an assembly members head was shattered with bottle
If otti can give them 1 billion to share for doing nothing, how much do you think he kept for himself? I have a lot to say but I will stop here As I said before I base my judge On personal experience and not hearsay A man that sat down for over 2 hours listening to what will not put money into his own pocket is different from a man that won’t see you because you haven’t wet the ground Whether Otti got richer or not, he has shown where his interest lies. At least for the first time in 24years aba is no longer synonymous to dirt and filth. Maybe one day, you get opportune to converse with a governor like him, then you will know the difference |

Vouching for a Nigerian politicians and claiming he hasn't touched public money as governor when he is not your father or your son? The joke is really on you, if only you know what goes on underground. I have met him I have also met 2 others I know the difference The day you meet that man to discuss anything that will bring development to Abia, that’s the day you will know that good governors exist. From there you can go and meet uzodimma. |

Who doesn't know that there is nothing integrity in anything Apc, they are well satisfied with the billions of naira they make in corruption that they see any candidate who will take that corruption away as a big threat
It's only otti and very few other governors that you will see doing business with such people with integrity

TopBanter: Okay don't sacrifice na. Your problem, your misery. The privileged are sorted. I.e the Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso, GEJ family etc
What you guys are failing to understand is that we need a system that can allow more ordinary Nigerians to rise as high as possible to live fulfilled and productive lives beneficial to themselves and their nation.
Who, since 1999, is attempting to deliver that better than PBAT? NELFUND, for example, that allows children from the poorest homes to attend Uni, as long as they have the educational talent, has been done by which other President aside PBAT?
We are in a rebuilding stage. Be adult and responsible enough to try and understand the crucial concept which is that the damage is very severe.
We must therefore all be ready to sacrifice for a while and endure some pain of crucial reforms to get to our desired destination, as others have done globally like Singapore, after nations have been ruined over decades by cumulative misrule. Nelfund allows the poorest to go to school? With house rent above the roof Transport fare unbearable Food (now minimum of 1500 per meal) And it is Nelfund that solved the problem It is cheaper to go to school in 2022 than it is now, even with the nelfund So we should make sacrifices while tinubu is buying thousands of campaign vehicles. O shey kanayo |
Politics › Re: If Only Nigeria Knows How Tinubu Rescued Us From The Monumental Fraud Called Oil by Zionmdde: 11:25pm On Sep 26 |
TopBanter: Lol. What exactly was the common man enjoying under cheap fuel regime? You think cheap fuel alone, with poverty and stagnation everywhere constituted fitting human existence?
The problem with most of you is that you are not exposed and previous Presidents before Tinubu had used weaponised poverty, through several subsisidies to get you accustomed to your totally crap lives and even thankful/praiseful of it.
Look, majority of Nigerians will never be able to buy a car, a home, go on holiday, beat generational poverty, be finest trained human resources etc.
Is that life you have, one of the worst globally, simply not because they give you cheap petrol, subsidized electricity delivering only darkness, subsidized education delivering substandard level of graduates meaning we must import foreign expert to deliver our crititical infrastructure etc, etc ?
Can't you guys see the obvious and how we must change and sacrifice to become like Singapore etal? Who is doing the sacrifice? The masses? Seyi Tinubu? Tinubu? Akpabio? The governors? After sacrificing during buhari era, Nigerians are being told to sacrifice again |

They took away subsidy from the masses to fatten the pockets of politicians

Obi is used to these persecutions
The power lies with the people, whether Tinubu wins or loses, it’s the people that will decide. And when the people decide, all these thugs and holigans will be running from their lives
So all these intimidations will not shift the thumbs of a voter from the party he wants to vote to APC |

omenka: In addition, folks should stop making it look as though worst things haven't been said by this same people against others, especially at the height of Kanu's infamy.
Kanu said a lot and they saw nothing wrong with all he said. We also haven't forgotten what that former Vanguard Editor, Ochereoma Nnanna, said about Yorubas because they desperately wanted to see a re-election of Jonathan.
We should stop cherry picking our anger against these things. It is hypocritical. Condemn an action or wrongdoing for its very nature not for the identity of the wrongdoer or the "victim". So in summary as a government employee whose salary is paid with taxes from Igbo too, he is correct because Kanu who is a non government employee said such too? If someone ever said “you have sense” , be sincere will you believe the person? |
